Well holding him to the standard of performing at a high level is one thing. Wanting him to overcome false starts and his linemen whiffing on blocks? I sounds great in theory but its not Madden.
But most every QB has to overcome those situations and indeed Dak appears more able to overcome them in-Game, but as the clock ticks down the confidence/composure seems to suffer.
You can overcome the above with a lead, but we just don't have the CAP to provide him with a formidable O-line ala 2016.....hence Dak has to work with what he's got.

Most QB's who have to consistently overcome that stuff typically don't.

Dak's offensive line in 2016 was guys on rookie deals.

Went back to 2016.....just to see how much this offensive line cost.....Tyron 6.8 million, Doug Free.....second highest paid on the line was 4.5 million....Ron Leary was 2.5 million, Zack Martin was 2.4 million and Frederick was 2.1 million...La'el Collins was 533,000 lol.

So don't quote people incorrectly, I suggest you address your comments to the individual and don't assume. ;)

No, because your argument is equally as ridiculous and kind of in the frame of the point I referenced and I’ll quote whoever I want thanks bud

If you take away the occasions that we only need a FG (going down the field isn't my issue, it's the ultimate all/nothing drive where he's got to get a TD) he tends to come up short.
Show your work. This is a very specific scenario you're laying out here which my gut tells me most QBs will not be performing well under these circumstances. Additionally, I'm curious that ones of the top performers in this category, how many of them have won any of these so called big games?

he's lost the last 3 games against the 49ers, thrown 1, 2, 3 interceptions each of the games respectively and has failed to score more than 17 points so not exactly sure what you are referring to.

We had 15 penalties in the first playoff game vs 49ers, in which Dak didn't commit any of them.

Name me one quarterback who's overcome 15 penalties in a playoff game vs the 49ers or any other top 3 team and won......

I'll wait......

(I'll guarantee he won't answer this question)

Go search yourself, the thread was in the Summer or look on ProFoorball Ref yourself. Dak's stats were considerably worse compared to his contempories and against his own figures not in the trailing >2/>4 min.

It's so specific I literally cannot find it

Which point is ridiculous, because you've misinterpreted what I said....indeed it looks as if you saw a buzz word and attacked rather than finish reading.

That will include FG's, most of his clutch wins are in situations where the game isn't on his arm.
The whole point is Daks composure under the ultimate pressure.
Getting in to FG position is on the arm, bud. You don't fly there. Scoring, regardless, is also on the receivers, blocking, running game, playcalling and a myriad of other factors.

Man I almost cried looking at it lol. I didn't realize we had all those guys there at the same time. But now that I refresh my memory that was a young Collins who we were working in but man......I remember when we just had to worry about Doug Free and he wasn't even bad.

Leary, Tyron, Martin, Fredericks and Free.....and oh yeah Leary on the bench.
