I like Dak but he just doesn't have that next level gear or the competitive zeal to compete at a championship level in my opinion. Meanwhile other QB's adapt and evolve to maximize their effectiveness in making their team's better. I'd be a little surprised if the Cowboys make it to the playoffs this season. Perhaps another WC, one and done is too optimistic. If people think this is going to be Dak's year I'd recommend tempering your expectations. The reality is his window of opportunity has already come and gone and the franchise needs to be more focused on the future and not hoping for the best with a QB that's already past his prime. Jerry Jones is simply too antiquated and myopic in his vision for the team to make any real progress. His ego is a bigger priority than building a championship caliber team.

Well Jerry gets all the credit for running Jimmy off and not getting past the divisional round in nearly 30 years. Congrats!

In Daks defense, he definitely developed himself physically and has worked hard to stay in top shape......not every qb we've had here has done that.
And I had no issue with him and how he looked his rookie season but it’s almost night and day. Probably explains why his body is holding up.

Never mind Dak and his annual proclamation that he is in the best shape of his life— who cares anymore? I’d like to take Jane out on a date…. You know, maybe get some “inside knowledge “

He’s trolling you and you bit.
The only biting on Prescot's sound bites is you. I quite trusting the "TOAD HUNTER" seasons ago and don't want him anywhere close to the offense this year. Sit his butt on the bench and let Rush school Lance for the starting QB job, Prescot and his agents will bag the Cowboys to trade him which could mean some extra draft capital in the 2025 NFL Draft.

you can't be this sensitive to anything any athlete says. what did you expect? "I am in the worst shape I have ever been!!?" you all are just way way way too sensitive to anything these days.
Who is being overly sensitive?

And it isn't the least bit coincidental being that this is a contract year.

Well, baring injury, the 2023 NFL MVP Runner-up will be behind center. Simply because he’s that good. So in the meantime, what are you going to do? Come here every day like you currently do and cry?

We’ll see how you feel about that if it happens and we end up struggling for years at QB. That’s when lot of you Dak haters will come to realize he wasn’t as bad as you thought he was. I can only imagine the mega meltdown on these Cowboy fan boards if he goes on to win a championship with someone else. Give him a consistent running game and a solid defense that shows up in the playoffs and he could do it.
Well is that all he needs. Who knew it could be so easy.

A consistent running game that shows up in the playoffs along with a solid defense that shows up in the playoffs is all he needs. That’s what he had when he won his two playoff games. We had 164 yards rushing in the playoffs against Seattle in 2018 and were able to contain their running game. Our defense was able to hold off Seattle in the closing minutes. The defense fell apart the following week against the Rams. We had 128 yards rushing against Tampa in our playoff win in 2023 and held the Buccaneers to only 53 yards on the ground. Our defense bent in the passing game, but we didn’t give up a lot of points.

I’m gonna miss Dak pissing off certain members on this site who he doesn’t even know exist lol.
You think that matters to them.:lmao2:

The opposite is also true then. People spend a lot of time weirdly defending dak from criticism....and dak couldnt care less.
What a weird take...but if it amuses you...thats good i guess.
