To be fair, the 90 yard TD and 40 yard TD yesterday, skewed those stats heavily. While I agree Cooper was a great acquisition, and Dak actually seems like a better QB with him, Coop made both of those plays happen.
I hate this argument.
That’s how stats work in the NFL. You can’t subtract a players best plays.
The ability to take a pass 90 yards for a TD is part of what makes Cooper a special player. You can’t take that away from him.
The only way this argument works, is if you take every other receiver in the NFL and remove their “big plays”. Then compare the stats.
