Dallas Cowboys Quarterback Tony Romo Set To Retire

I can see Tony working on his golf game and getting that PGA card...eventually becoming a star on the senior tour

You think his body would be ready to take the hits right out of the commentator's seat?
No. I don't think his body will ever be ready to take the hits regardless of what seat he was getting out of.
But he may not agree.

As I said when it happened, the Romo window closed shut 2 years ago on the crap Dez non catch in green bay.

why do people believe what we think matters?Pretty sure his TV contract will say that he can leave if his Cowboys need him. End of story

I'm thinking you're saying that as a fan. Nobody knows what kind of broadcaster he'll be.

Call it in educated opinion. I have spent some time working in communications/media.

There is a reason he has multiple job offers in broadcasting. Not only is he good looking and well spoken-- he has an every-man likeableness that serves him well.

He may tank-- but I would be shocked

That is not acknowledged enough. People love to talk about how he needed a defense, but how the OL was fumbled with the likes of Costa, Livings, Holland and others for a few years shortened his career a bit.

Jerry is on record as saying the Cowboys don't need a good OL because Romo is mobile.

How did that work out, Jerry?

He's a natural. He will be a very good broadcaster.

That was an easily recognizable danger that it took three or four years to get serious about. Like a lot of things with Jones, he can delude himself for quite a while.

Bro, he's being polite. Did you expect him to come out and say he s better than tony and get reemed by local fanboys? #ringsmatter

You're wrong.

If Aikman thought he was a better QB than Romo, he just wouldn't have said anything. Or he would have said Romo is a very good QB. And not compared himself to Romo at all.

Stop trying to frame the narrative in your favor when you have no quotes or evidence to back it up.

It's sad.
