can this retirement (if it does happen) be made against the cap 6/1 or do we absorb whole hit now this year?

They were lucky as hell to be even in that game in the end. We overcame Roy Williams coaching. I'll call it even

My tweet after that game:Trade coaches and Carolina would've won this game by 13+ points! Undisciplined and flat out dumb. They survived tho!#TarHeelNation #UNCvsUK

Missed free throws, dribbling into traffic, passes into out stretched arms, five seconds delay on the inbound.. Roy Williams coaching.#unc

Tweet after beating Oregon:UNC would beat Gonzaga by 8-10 points if they had real coach, since they're stuck w Roy, it'll be a toss-up!!!#uncvsoregon #TarHeelNation

This was big hit last night. As we were nearly losing to Arkansas:Fire Roy Williams!!! Was gonna save it until after this choke job. But I can't wait... fire Roy Williams#unc #tarheels

Still haven't forgiven Roy for the loss to Georgetown in the 2007 elite eight. Or for being mollywhopped by sorry *** Bill Self and the Kansas Jayhawks in 2008 and 2012.

Being part of the younger generation of Cowboys fans, I didn't witness the glory days of the 70s and the 90s. I wasn't alive during the former era and I was just a child during the latter era so I don't remember much of the Triplets and the three Super Bowls. I was merely a 16-year old teenager when Tony came into the game against the Giants in 2006. Despite throwing an interception on his first pass, he managed to display something special that night that would last for the next 10 years. Tony easily became my favorite Cowboys player that season and he brought an excitement to the Cowboys that hadn't been seen since the 90s.

He wasn't perfect and he made his fair share of mistakes, but man I loved watching this guy play. He represented the Dallas Cowboys organization with class on and off the field and in my opinion was one of the fiercest and toughest warriors in the NFL. It's a damn same that Jerry built this great offensive line just a little too late for Tony to benefit from and possibly win a Super Bowl. I know many fans don't like him, that includes other fanbases and of course are own Cowboys fans, but I loved both Tony Romo as a player and as the great man he is. He didn't deserve nearly the hate he had and still currently absorbs and it kills me that Tony never was able to win the Lombardi Trophy.

Cheers to you, Tony. I pray that you enjoy your retirement, kick butt in the broadcast booth and I anxiously await the day your name goes up in the Ring of Honor. Will miss you #9

But but but..Jerry said he had 5 years left and it's not a damn debate.

This goes to show what an absolute ******* idiot of all idiots Jerry Jones has become.
Really? Jerry is catching crap from you because he didn't know back when he made that comment that Tony was going to retire on April 4, 2017???

As soon as I heard Tony played competitive golf last week with his father I knew it was over

He gets his juices flowing from golf, he gets the football camaraderie from the TV booth and gets the safety and money from CBS....win-win

DAL doesn't get a pick and we still need a backup but we get cap space and don't have to play against him

Thanks for those 2 wildcard playoffs wins in a decade. I was tired of winning so much. That's probably the feeling a Patriots fan feels.

Yeah don't forget to mention those great defenses that made all those crucial stops over the las ten years including losing a game we scored 48 points in. Those teams for the most part were 4-12 and Romo could never overcome Jerry's ego.

I'll have more for the clown show 5% ers below.

This is actually a sad day for a lot of fans for a seldom talked about reason. There's an entire generation of Cowboy fans who have only known Romo as the Cowboys QB. At least a good one. I fit into this category. Too young for the dynasty years so he was my first taste of a really good QB.
