I quit taking you serious once you showed that you've already got your mind made up (see your post #133 from way back) and incapable of being intellectually honest.
Oh noes!
I quit taking you serious once you showed that you've already got your mind made up (see your post #133 from way back) and incapable of being intellectually honest.
Most congressmen are former attorneys. And they all realize that you ask for a lot more than you expect to receive because it leaves room for negotiation.
With that said, the place looks awful. Okay, he's a kid, but you mean to tell me there wasn't somebody he trusted that was willing to point this out? I mean, pay for the repairs before you leave, who in their right mind is going to believe that he left that house in acceptable condition?
I would say ten thousand to the right company wouyld have set things right. Now, he's got more bad publicity. A guy like him should be soaking up the big advertising contracts but a lot of them are going to stay away from him.
He made $10m of his rookie contract and they didn't have him buy his own home when homes depressed in value following the crash. Instead they had him pay West's mortgage. they've been milking him over this house from the beginning. With that in mind, I look at how Wells and West would use power of attorney to steal from Dez and then cut him off from being able to pay his debts and leaking it to the public. It goes far beyond 'responsibility.'
As long as you quit bringing up the jewelry and loans particularly in this context then I'm happy though.
The main thing is not whether dez owes money or how much, and not many will care about the senator.
The main thing is this shows Dez to be comfortable living like a pig.
By not settling this before now, these pictures come out and will forever change peoples opinion of
dez on a personal level.
This could affect Deals for advertising, that he might have got in future or that he has now.
It will affect what jerry and stevie, the coaches, and the other players think of him.
It could affect a job in media after football.
So what is all that worth??
I think Dez did live there, for years in filth, and making a million or more per year, could have had some new carpet
put down, not because he had to , but because the dirty carpet BOTHERED HIM ! LOL.
Would any of you want to rent to dez now?, let him house sit for a couple of months lol
And when you consider he had the monkey , there is no telling how filthy that place was while he was living there.
I would have never thought he would be that filthy making the money he does.
He evidently never had the carpet cleaned by professionals either, just used bounty towels, for a wipe up and yeah its ok
now lol.
So this will affect dez in the long run, he should never have let this go to the point the pictures got out,
or he should have cleaned it up before he left.
This could cost him millions in the long run. I wouldnt want dez promoting my product after those pics came out.
I dont really care about the senator, or what he gets or doesnt get. Guess he never stopped by to check on the house?
either way dont care about him, but I cant help but see Dez as sort of trashy now.
I wonder if he bought a house or is renting again?? if renting I bet his new landlord is looking for loopholes to get him
out quickly.
Not really sure how this pertains to my post. Wells and West are likely jerk offs. Doesn't change the fact Bryant looks irresponsible here himself.
If someone stole your money would you clean their house for them or would you give them and their stuff the finger?
West was getting 58k a year in rent for several years.....he can clean up his own mess
When I worked in property management, we went very cheap all the timeThat's not what you said. Fact is you can get top end building materials at Home Depot. I'm not going to make assumptions about what materials are used although the carpet does seem to be berber.
You would be surprised. My fam owns a HVAC company and I've seen several $1m homes with cheap Janitrol systems and similar appliances. Realtors, property management, and home warranty companies are notoriously cheap.
But that's not all that matters. There is no pain an d suffering or punitive damages. Fees may be responsible for all the damages. The landlord will still have to prove that the reasonable repairs cost that much. If the agreement is clean and the damages cost that much, he will get his money. If it costs less, than that's what he will get.Why would anyone care even if he exagerated the repair costs. Should the owner go around to Home Depot and all these different stores trying to find the cheapest way to do the repairs so Dez has to pay less? From the pictures it looks like most of the inside of the house was trashed. I could see 60k. I could definitely see 40k. So it was 40k and he said it was 60k? Either way who cares? Dez Trashed the house that is all that matters.
If someone stole your money would you clean their house for them or would you give them and their stuff the finger?

I quit reading after this strawman. If you cannot argue honestly then I'm not going to waste my time. All you do is come across as salty fwiw.
Well, there is that pesky thing called a lease. And regardless of what the rent was (which was agreed to by both parties), that doesn't make it right to leave a home in that condition.
I think it's clear you've made your mind up on the matter. You're speculation is textbook special pleading...."squatters.....rodents....anybody or anything but Dez was involved!'
I think your mind is made up as well.
I don't believe any millionaire would live in squalor.
However, I do know of PLENTY of instances where the renter is done with the residence, leaves the residence either unlocked and the residence is either broken into or rodents/pests/etc. comes in. A few years ago a friend of mine had this problem with people that he rented a place to. They never notified him that they were leaving...didn't lock up the place properly and there was a lot of damage caused by vagrants. My friend actually got a letter in the mail from the Judge Mathis TV show asking if he would be interested in participating, but he never got a call back.
Anyway, in his case...because they signed a lease and never notified him they were leaving, it was an open and shut case and he won.

And then there is this pesky thing called contract language. You don't know what the lease says so quit acting like you've made some point. Regardless, a representative of Bryant was not present at the final walkthrough as stated in the article so it's not as cut and dry as you might like even if it is standard.
More blathering from the uniformed...
The relevant lease terms are provided in the court report (and attached as an exhibit). I don't think you're bright enough to realize this document is available publicly and wasn't "leaked." It's further proof you haven't even read the document and are simply just spouting of theories like you're a paid apologist.
And any wonder why a representative of Bryant's wasn't present to conduct a walkthrough when the place was in the condition it was?
Dealing with people that get a point and act like they just won the championship are amusing. I'm more interested in the portion of the lease that talks about a final walkthrough and something that indicates that the Dez camp was made aware that it took place. And not just one side of the dispute.
Oh and ending with wishcasting as to why no one from Bryant's camp was there. Nice touch.
Stay mad though it really helps your credibility you'll find. Really.
Meanwhile, you're wishcasting assuming (and hoping) the fact Bryant didn't have a representative at the walkthrough means something nefarious was done by West.
Oh and that part where you act as if you're informed....comical.
Time for you to clock back in fry guy.
Y'all are still pissing? Amazing!
