Not even trying to be coy here, but what about Dak playing better in the 1st-3rd Quarters and he doesn't need the heroics in the 4th?In terms of playing his best in the 4th quarter & OT, since 2016 he's 2nd to only Brady in wins.

I'm wondering why is the 4th Q stat a badge of honor? It could also be a reflection of subpar play earlier in the game, if so, why celebrate that?Roger Staubach was known as Captain Comeback. Nobody bashed him for his play early in games. John Elway; either.
Dak Prescott is 32-16. How bad can he be? I understand he's far from perfect and will never be Drew Brees throwing the football, but come on people. He wins. Isn't that all that matters?

I hear yaIt's a badge of honor because it proves a quarterback can thrive under pressure and come through in the clutch. With the game on the line, the Cowboys can put the ball in Dak's hands and know he's going to seize the moment. It's not always the quarterback's fault when a team is trailing late.
I'm not a baseball fan, but to me that's the equivalent of a pitcher being able to get three strikeouts with the bases loaded in the ninth inning.
You're wrong, the team was 4-12. If the team was already great before Dak got there then how can all that talent go 4-12? You say Dak is garbage or below average then any QB should come in and win double digit games right......no they went 4-12 and had a 1000 yard rusher who only started 8 games. The difference was Dak. Any other nonsense you Dak haters want to post. You're wrong.and lol at thinking the team had 4 win talent.
No you said Dak keeps regressing which is completely false. And keep using this false narrative that Dak is only successful because of players around him. Sure this team has talent but he hasn't had the same offensive players every year. They keep changing. Y'all keep saying he walked into a great squad but that team went 4-12 the year prior.A step back because certain things are constant, while others things are getting worse.
Do you even watch the games or just the select parts of the stat sheet? I'm not even understanding why you would ask such a question like I'm presenting an argument without any reason.
He got a "legit" receiver and had a few breakout games and a few duds, same thing Carr did in Oakland.
TDs remain the same when they should go up, pocket awareness has seemingly declined, fumbles remain high, sacks have skyrocketed into "wth are you doing" territory. Reading coverages definitely isn't better as it seems the same man coverage single high safety gives Dak tons of issues. When Dak doesn't have the sideline (or any pass outside the hash marks) to throw to we see the struggles. I see the same constant blame for the OL, but the stats and eyeball tell me otherwise.
I'm not trying to convince you, just making you aware of why I have such an opinion of a certain player that get every W attached to his name. It isn't. All I'm hearing for counterarguments is Wins and Probowls, completely dismissing and insulting the great players he has supporting him.
Not sure any team would tell you true value without knowing he’s availibleBTW, based on the responses, I'm not sure many of you are actually reading the OP's thread. He's not saying that we should trade Dak, but rather asking what we think his trade value would be.
I think sometimes we just read the title of the post (which wasn't the best way to introduce this as just an exercise) and make assumptions off that instead of actually reading the post.

By the way people have used other things besides wins and probowls but y'all don't want to respond to those
Because most every game is decided within one possession. You just don't have a ton of blowouts in the NFL. So if majority of games come down to the 4th quarter wouldn't you want the QB who performs the best then. Fantasy football has ruined you guys and if all you want are huge stats maybe you should watch a different game altogether.I'm wondering why is the 4th Q stat a badge of honor? Why the fantasy football reference?Because most every game is decided within one possession. You just don't have a ton of blowouts in the NFL. You asked a question and i answered it. Looks like you didn't like the answer so you resort to name calling and put downs. Don't bother responding because you are going on ignore. Good dayWhy the fantasy football reference?
Why the poor attitude to me asking questions?
Fix your panties, Tinkerbell...haha!!!
Do the games have to be close?
Are there no QBs who play consistently well for 4 quarters?
Oops more questions...
Go outside and tell some teenagers to get off your lawn, Grandpa...sheesh.
Just like Aaron Rodgers...I don't hate Dak... and my post wasn't ripping him up.
I was just stating my opinion on what I consider facts as I see them.
Other people see something else. I don't see what they see.
I watch every game, and could care less what stats show.
Obviously NFL analysts and media seem to see things the same way for the most part.
Dak is not a $30mil QB, he just isn't... But, the market is what it is...
The contract needs to be made in a way that there is an easy out, if a prodigy comes along...
Right now, there is no one to replace him, so it isn't even a discussion right now..
But, Dak will only hurt Dak with a crazy contract...
His future success, is based on his supporting cast period.
Ignoring context doesn't make you appear smart btw. You're wrong, the team was 4-12. If the team was already great before Dak got there then how can all that talent go 4-12? It's the same offense with the same receivers and TEs and same OL. Dak and Zeke were the only differences. That 4-12 team had a 1000 yard rusher so it was clearly clearly not the running back spot that needed improvement.Ignoring context doesn't make you appear smart btw.
Also what a team was a year ago often has little bearing on who they are a year later. For a variety of reasons.
Fact is Dak has had enviable position among rookie QBs. And it isn't really close. Ask Josh Rosen and Sam Bradford and Jared Goff what their rookie situations were like.
