Lol. No $@#* This has been said by players for over a decade: nothing will change until jerry dies and even then it probably won’t.

Marketing and building the brand are more important than football and have been since day one with Jerry.

dak being trash is tied with d being weak/soft. Keep it a buck
I honestly cant complain with how the defense played in 2022 playoffs. Shutdown brady and held a SF team that was averaging 35 ppg with Purdy, to only 19 points

They did suck this past season though but we played with no linebackers and trevon

ROFL, Schultz went to a 3-win team with 0 expectations.

They had a real good season and we will see how that goes for them now.
But talking culture after 1 season is legit hilarious.
No, it isn't.

Coach Jimmy would never allow that stuff to go on.
Exactly.
Can you imagine Jimmy putting up with all these supposed post game party plans they were talking about leading up to the GB game?

Like we just had to show up and it was gonna be a W?

Absolute head coaching failure that should have gotten McFraud fired the very next day.

And yet here we are.

Jerry is the culture but it’s also annoying when “team leaders” fully buy into to it and propagate it. That’s the real damage. Zack doesn’t buy into it. Dlaw does. Ferguson hasn’t yet. Dak does. Donovan Wilson doesn’t buy into it. Micah does.

The culture is softness, unaccountability and excuses, and brand-building. If these weren’t the culture, then the circus and marketing wouldn’t impact the play on the field.

The same circus existed in the 90s, but the leaders were Aikman, Smith, Larry Allen, Woodson, Irvin and others. None of them were soft, they held each other accountable, and they didn’t give a crap about brand.

Jerry is Jerry and he sucks big time, but the players are just weak. Dak clueless saying the culture is “high” whatever that means. DLaw said they were tired after the GB loss. Micah sending out highlights of him being held, but didn’t send any highlights of the 95% of the run plays where he was upright and not in the tackle pile.

The wrong players are captain.

One is a world wide brand.
The other is Houston....

Is that a bad thing, most the time, yes - if your talking about a football culture. Probably too big for most

He joined the Texans almost a year ago today. Why would he need more than a full year to know if an organization is disfunctional or not? Did you ever need more than a year to know if a job is that way or not? Of course not.

Does jerry really need the tour money he gets off of the star while players are there? during the season?
During the road games jerry takes sponsors with the players, they have to use 2 planes.

Jerry has what 13 billion, so he doesnt need this money, he is just a greedy twit who cant stop trying to make every dime he can.
He could let all that little $ go, and have a better atmosphere for the players and coaches, but his obsessive greed wont let him.

your partly right, but this is where a good HC could make these stars better leaders than they are now.
Daks new look is about his "image", he wont be wearing the bow ties any more lol.

MM probably says nothing to any of these players about culture or leadership.
Micah did say the dallas culture is bad and needs to be better.

Does this franchise have a culture problem? Absolutely. I blame the horrific owner for being more about making money than winning.

With that said, if it was so bad and affected the team so much, we wouldnt have gone 12-5 three years in a row.

The Quarterback pooping his pants against good teams is probably our biggest issue
It's not a problem for Jerry and he is the only one unfortunately that matters.

This is a joke, right?

Mike and Erik were calling the escort “managers” and their dealers planning parties on any given Sunday. The Too Tall Jones hot tub harem parties happened while Tom was the coach.

If some random player has an appearance fee paid to him for showing up at some club after a game, I’d consider the team lucky.

It’s crazy how normal people who lived in the 70s, 80s, and 90s have these fantasies about how things were. They were worse. The team won in spite of it, mainly due to talent. Blaming losses on stuff like podcasts, dreadlocks, tattoos and appearance fees is silly.

There’s something to be said for a competitive winning culture and this team seems to lack that, but most fans can’t differentiate between what they find personally annoying and the actual real problems facing the team.

The team has a problem at QB in the playoffs. They have a problem with their defensive style of play. They have a problem at LB. They have a problem with the OLine.

Focus on that and no one would care if some guy gets a haircut.

Regardless of your post, the simple question is did the head coach of the Dallas Cowboys football team have his team ready to play the Green Bay Packers?

Not only no, but **** no.

And he shoulda been fired afterwards imo..
