Exactly. Already antiquated drug laws are now even further behind.Isn’t that the stuff Griner got a year for in Russia? That was a mess.

Just like it is to think people fit so easily into the boxes of "good" and "bad."It's a beautiful pie in the sky dream to make guns disappear from bad people. Naive, but beautiful.
Lots of folks don’t do as they say.Exactly!!!
You have surgeons, lawyers, and all kinds of other professionals who do coke on a regular basis, but I've never heard anyone saying they have character issues. I know this first hand because , back in my day, I used to sell to them at parties or at their homes. I didn't have to stand on a corner and made serious bread.
Again.... they don't say those professionals have character issues, they only apply that to athletes.
Make that make sense.....

Yeah, Hoover and Huntsville are both pretty nice.I travel down to work that region including Huntsville. Was down last November, nice area.
Without the drugs, it would not have been an offense.Gotta love TX...the gun was the misdemeanor
There is no gun registration in Texas, and a permit is not required.I would think a permit to carry and having the weapon registered are basic law compliance.
Possess both drugs and a gun at the same time and place.I just looked it up, and I don't know what he could've done because laws are very relaxed in Texas. No permit necessary, basically just a holster, but in his car? I have no clue what he could've done to get charged.
Weed is not always a felony.Weed is a felony but unlawfully carrying a gun is a misdemeanor.
What is wrong with Texas?
Ridiculous.i sure hope so. These gun toting morons need to be taught a lesson.
Because there aren't any professional surgeon leagues. Or pro lawyer tournaments. Athletes carry the hopes and dreams of millions in the fanbase rooting for a particular team to win a championship. When one of them is arrested and suspended ,it helps to derail that teams chances. It sucks but it happens.Exactly!!!

The report said, “controlled substance”. That is not marijuana.Carrying Marijuana=Felony
Unlawful carrying of a weapon=Misdemeanor
Lol. Jerry is an evil dude. Why are you surprised?
Lol
That's our owner.
So then it is all revisionist after the fact. Not a good way to make decisions in real time.People who shoot innocent people are "bad." It's not hard.
It actually reads like an SNL skit
No you don’t.You still have to register the gun though.
