No, I just have more confidence in them than every armchair GM on this board that thinks the team would be so much better if they were at the helm.

If you were so full of awesome, I'm sure you'd be coaching/playing/GMing by now instead of the incessant "woe is me, TO is a baaaad man" act we read daily.

You just have faith in a rich armchair GM.

Hopefully with an uncapped year coming up we can get rid of TO - I doubt Jones will give up his poster boy, though. Likely a few more years of a divided locker room due to a GM who loves the attention and a coach with no backbone.

Hopefully we pay the earth to obtain crabtree from whichever crap team drafts him early, in the uncapped year, either that or give the lions back williams in return for cj ;)

You don't have to be Michael Phelps to teach someone how to swim.

Exactly, why wouldn't Deion go straight to Witten and Romo and get their side? It's much easier for Deion to continue using the race card to divide the team.

Because Deion's not a journalist, just a talking head.

If coaching were that easy, there would be more than a handful of coaches in the pool from which to choose.

Seriously.

I heard that Romo and Witten were designing plays for each other, and that TO was referring to Witten as the rat BY THE MEDIA, but no evidence was given whatsoever. None. Zero. Zilch.

Umm, this was on NFL Gameday last night. I don't have the technical aptitude to post a link to the video, but Deion was pretty emphatic that Newman was talking about Romo and Witten with his comments. Take it for what its worth. Maybe Deion has no idea what he is talking about, but the perception is out there now that Newman was referring to Romo and Witten. It will be interesting to see if Newman wants to clarify his remarks now that the perception has been given he is talking about Romo and Witten.

I don't believe this report by Sanders. Tony Romo being the mole?

You can't be serious. That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard. After all ESPN tried to do before the Giants playoff game to set Romo up for the next story against him, Romo is just going to give Werder and ESPN what they want to sabatage the team.

Same with Jason Witten, he isn't the mole. He wouldn't sink his team just to get selfish, eratic players like Owens. Kelly Washington stood on the sidelines before the Alabama game and wouldn't even play. Everyone thought he would play. Washington, another attention seeking, selfish, big mouth player, didn't play another down that year for Tennessee. He was too worried about his draft stock. Jason Witten paid the price on the field. He got triple teamed after that. Witten never said a word to the media about the selfish player in the lockerroom. He just kept playing. If he had a problem, he would go to the coach or player.

Sanders has no proof. Now, people are leaping again, and it's beat up Terence Newman time, again. Sanders doesn't speak for Newman. He doesn't interpret Newman's thoughts. Sanders didn't say Newman told him. Sanders gave his thoughts on who he thought Newman was talking about in regards to the cowards or moles. You are innocent until proven guilty, and there is no solid proof that Newman was calling Romo and Witten cowards or moles. There is no proof that Newman was talking to Deion Sanders about the mole.

If Sanders thinks Romo and Witten are the "moles", he should clarify his comments. It isn't fair to Newman. He shouldn't be speaking for Newman. Sanders is just throwing more flames on the fire, so some of you will jump right in.

Have fun burning.

You know how to end this. Get Terrell Owens the heck out of Dallas.

I'm coming out and straight up saying that Terence Newman isn't stupid. Newman should come out and end this story through a statement.

My question is how the hell does Witten get into all this mess? That guy is a warrior and seems to do everything right, but now theres this stuff about him being "the snitch" and now a coward? Witten? Jason freaking Witten?

We need to. We gave him a chance and got burned like 90% of the people out there thought we would.

I hope no one takes this as me formulating a plan.

I posted this on a similar thread (below) but this whole topic ticks me off enough to repost it again

The Cowboys have NEVER had a divided locker room as far as the media/fans have ever known about. TO has been part of 3 divided locker rooms. Even if Romo is a problem and isn't trusted by everyone on the team, does it help to go on national TV and say it?

Deon is a mouth piece for TO. They are best friends and TO is feeding him info. To complain that there is a media leak when Deon is doing nothing but talking about what is going on internal to the team, is a joke.

TO has been criticizing Romo and Garrett the whole year. Every since the Commanders game (and probably before then) he has been divisive about the team. Now we have a full blown locker room meltdown with players calling others cowards. Have we ever seen our boys do this before?

If I have to guess if it is a guy who has a career long track record of dividing locker rooms, or a guy who has never done so, I pick the guy with a track record. This is exactly what happened in Philly where some guys were with TO and others were with McNabb. doesn't it sound familiar? Heck it has even divided the fans as it did in Philly. Talking to fans on the Beagles they had the exact same fight amonst their fans. But people still blame Romo.

Did Romo play like crap this year? Yes! Did JG call a great game plan this year? No! But it doesn't excuse players for ripping this team apart and that is what has happened this year. This is not a team folks! This is a bunch of ME first people who don't know the first thing about being a team (and yes I'm including TO and Deon in this list).

It's probably unnecessary. There's a high likelihood this is just a poster twisting what Sanders actually said. Deion Sanders is Hall-of-Fame-annoying, so it's possible that he made this direct quote, but he's probably just trying to insinuate that he's got inside info from TO/Newman in order to get attention.

Can anyone tell me please why Newman called this person a "coward?" Did this name-calling come from the supposed person who leaked information to Ed Werder? Why would Newman even put himself in that position to be considered an idiot for making a baseless comment?

He was calling the person who gave Werder the story a coward for not putting his name on it and hiding behing being an "anonymous source".

IF someone gave that to Werder, I would agree with Newman's characterization.

But I doubt it was giving by Romo or Witten because whoever gave it to Werder (IF there was anyone) clearly screwed up most of the details. Romo and Witten would not have made those mistakes.

That's a good statement. I don't have NFL Network, so I didn't see it. Someone needs to put his comments up here.

Ah, I see... Well, in that case, Deion has no business citing names as to the possible individuals called cowards by Newman. Deion is a complete idiot.
