It looked to me like he was in cuffs. He usually walks with his hands in his pockets and when he was walking down the hall his hands were in front of his body.

but you don't ever see the cuffs. plus, later, you see a shot where he is wearing gloves sliding his hands over the slides. don't think they would let him do that if they knew for sure he was the bhb

I see what you are saying but we don't really know the timeline or sequence of events yet so we can't say for sure.

I think he shoulda just strangled him with the handcuffs. I thought he did at first. Should have finished it there, and he could have claimed self-defense. now what's he gonna do?

These writers and actors knock it out of the park every episode.

There isn't any way that Dexter can let Doakes walk free now. At the same time Dex has never been one to kill innocent people. It's going to be great watching the next three episodes unfold.

Then there will be this never-ending manhunt for Doakes for the rest of the series. Dex can get around the "innocence" of Doakes by following Rule No. 1. Don't get caught.

I thought this was one of the funniest episodes of Dexter yet. The whole FBI security detail for Dex was hilarious. He's talking to Rita on the phone while the FBI guys are sitting next to him in the backseat...

"I have feelings for you too."

"We're getting together to talk."

"Communication is the key."

I haven't laughed that hard with this show ever.
