Did anyone watch the Cowboys-Vikings replay last night?

Its possible. But we haven't heard ANYTHING about the Cowboys being interested. Seems like with a caliber of Griffen we would hear rumblings at least.

Another thing to consider is how Aldon and Randy may or may not affect his playing time/snap count. I would think IF we made an offer, it was w/o a guaranteed starting job or a certain number of snaps coz again if everything goes well with Aldon or Randy and they lights out, he's a part-time player.

I checked out some of it and plan to watch it some more today. But in the short time I did watch it, what jumped out to me was the play of current free agent DE Everson Griffen against Tyron Smith. He truly gave our left tackle everything that he could handle, and then some. To be honest, the Vikings front in general outplayed our offensive line. Zeke and the running game ran into a brick wall all night and Minnesota was also able to maintain an excellent pass rush as well.

Watching Griffen perform so well, it reaffirms my beliefs that signing him would be the icing on the cake to a near-perfect offseason. It would solidify the RDE spot and take away the current uncertainty and guesswork at the position.

Free up the money and go sign a true, available, quality RDE.

i hope we find a way to bring him on, my dad sent me pictures of cooper catching ala Michael Jackson lean, then sent me when we were up 21-20, I couldn’t get myself to watch it, that was a painful lose for me.

Oh, he's a 'leader' and he 'tries really, really hard'. Vs the fact that on gameday the guy does nothing.

And, look at the history of the Cowboys with guys that have issues with depression. For every Charles Haley, there are the Alonzo Spellmans, Dimitrius Underwoods and Randy Gregory. The batting percentage isn't great.

Again everyone is free to express their opinions but I can't express mine about other's opinions? I see there are two set of rules. One for those for whoever want to express their opinions and one for those that anyone who disagree with those opinions and aren't allowed to express their opinons. Tyron was still recovering from Dak shattering his ankle. The eagles/giants/vikings game where pretty rough for him since they rushed him back. The remaining six games though he went on a good tear, high pass/run protection ratings and only a combined 1 holding call in that stretch

Again, the Vikings had cap issues. They couldn't keep all of their guys. That's no indicator that the guy can't still play.

Yeah, I'm in no rush to sign him until I hear (should be a couple of weeks) of the fate of Smith and Gregory. Teams may also be waiting to clear some cap space by waiting for the june 1st cuts.

To me, Everson Griffen is one of the top 3 RDE’s in football. If Gregory and Aldon don’t get reinstated, this is a no brainer. I think the guy is worth $15m a year.

I understand what you're saying and normally I just say something like the Cowboys haven't done this or that so that probably means they're not interested or I would point out the reasons why I don't think it's such a smart move. I do not know why they have not gone after him.

I do not know what he is looking for etc., but we have been so attack mode everywhere else, just sign him and make my day. Gregory and Smith be damned.
