No, the franchise is sadder. 10 years since a playoff victory, a revolving door of head coaches, an owner that won't let coaches do their job...yeah something to really hang your hat on.

See, here's all the proof you needed that I was right. Our fanbase doesn't even know where we stand. It isn't 10 years amigo. It's actually more. A pity you don't know after all the articles keep mentioning it. I guess paying attention is out of the question.

So you are Sigmund Freud and you know Jerry is totally satisfied. How about he exulted in the moment just like the players, coaches and most fans did. Heck I was mad and frustrated about the penalties and the way we were giving the game away. I felt sick when the defense cratered in the waning moments of the 4th quarter when we had the game in hand.

But the offense and the defense stepped up in the 4th quarter and that is that. Trust me they don't have to remind themselves how they struggled in this game, they will be watching the film to confirm what they did right and what the screwed up and work to correct things.

Actually, I didn't say "totally" satisfied, but he looked pretty giddy while hugging his son. There's something to be said for acting like you've done it before, especially when you own the product that once again, underperformed before your very eyes.

The frustrating part about this team is that they don't learn from their mistakes. They continue to miss tackles and commit stupid penalties that kill offensive drives and keep the defense on the field. I will not be happy until they shoe some signs of improvement in these areas.

I'm very happy Romo looked sharp and Austin broke out, but I worry about the finer details. I will not sit here and pretend they're playing like an elite NFL football team.

Good research. It actually looks pretty good, though. WP's record comes out to 45-32, which is about 59% and the Cowboys' record comes out to 25-19, which is about 57%. That puts us at a predicted 6-5 or 7-4 finish, everything else equal. 9-7 would almost certainly leave us out of the playoffs; 10-6 would likely leave us in.

I'm sticking with my 9-7 tops prediction for now. If we beat Atlanta, I'll readjust.

But it would behoove them to acknowledge they didn't play well and made mistakes that would get them beaten by better teams.

There does seem to be a lack accountability within the Cowboys organization.

I did, and am now in med school, doing more with my life than you could ever possibly fathom to accomplish.

Doubtful. You won't be making as much as I do for quite some time. And when you do eventually start making what I do now, I'll be making much more.

That is irrelevant. theogt hasn't maintained a statistical analysis exists, 30YardSlant has.

He is saying there is no statistical way to say this team cannot finish in the 11-5 range. Saying that there is such a statistical analysis is nothing but bitterness talking.

You said your were more embarrassed for this fan base than the franchise and were proud of the team. Sounds like hanging your hat to me. So your proud of this team huh? Pretty bold statement considering the way they played today and the piss poor history here lately....but go ahead be proud of mediocrity because it looks like your going to get a lot more of it.
