Exactly but he will get a pass like he always does. He calls out his coaches, players and now the QB but thats ok in his world. TO is labeled a cancer but Newman is just saying what needs to be said. What the difference between him and TO? Mouth almighty strikes again.

Honestly, I'm not even sure what Newman is trying to say, and I've read that three times.

Is he saying that Tony isn't as good now because his girlfriend is taking away his focus? Or is he saying that Romo's girlfriend makes Tony look more like a celebrity and not like the good QB he is?

In either case, Newman probably just needs to shut his mouth. It's not a clear quote, and I can't imagine a lot of good things coming from saying it in the first place.

I've got a brain and I am not at all sure of his intent.

Some people are assuming he's implying that the media is at fault while other are assuming that he's implying Romo should have known or behaved better given the media's celebrity obsession. He doesn't explicitly state either and a case can be made for either implication -- they both seem pretty plausible to me.

The article is NOT about Owens. I said the article "noted" as in made reference. It is not about him.

What about that don't you get?

I'm critical of you because you expressed your opinion - incorrectly, I might add - that the article was about Owens and it's not. No matter how you want to twist it.

But, obviously, just as how whenever you see his name in print you disregard the content and automatically assume it ALL ABOUT OWENS, your last sentence indicates that for you EVERYTHING is about Owens. Especially funny is how you think somehow he was some sort of martyr. Sacrificed for telling the truth!!!! Give me a break.
