Exactly..........when you start having different rules for different players, it starts to tear apart team chemistry.

What Broaddus had to say certainly doesn't mesh with Mincey saying the following very recently: “I would love to come back. I love the Cowboys. I love everything about the organization”

Several impending free agents have expressed their desire to stay with the Cowboys...to include Mincey, Hardy, Dunbar, Jack Crawford, Claiborne, etc.

Mincey was playing injured & didn't produce a single sack all season...that's more likely why his snaps were reduced, in addition to wanting to get some of the younger guys like Gregory, Irving, etc. more playing time.

Speaking of being late for meetings: "The Jaguars released Mincey on Friday after he was late for another team meeting, according to a source close to the team. That comes nearly three weeks after he did not make the team's trip to Houston because he overslept and was late for a team meeting."

Not good. I am not a Hardy fan. I was open to bringing him back though if he was good in the lockerroom during the season and if he did the right things as we entered the offseason (stay out of trouble, no PR issues and is at Valley Ranch working). If he wasn't a good teammate attending meetings and additional being a professional stuff, I would move on. Remember, he was only going to have a few suitors last off season. He was much closer to not getting another chance than having 15 teams bid on him. So he had to be on his best behavior and prove himself. Lord knows what happens when he get a multiple year contract at 10-15 million a year. Good luck controlling him then.

Also, coaches treat players differently. That is nothing new. Although to think Jimmy would have been fine with a guy being late, missing meetings or being bad in the lockerooom when you are 2-12 with that player who is suppose to be one of your best players....you are very naive.

This organization has a history of paying players for constantly underachieving and lack of discipline and accountability on Jason and Jerry's watch. Of course all the under achievers want to come back

He's not a good fit for any culture that expects their players to show up on time and take responsibility for their actions. Your a professional is it too much to ask that you make it to the damn meetings on time?

After the photos of the alleged victim were released, Hardy was not the same player. I wish him well in his future endeavors.

Not what I'm talking about. The control Jimmy had was on the field. He obviously didn't care about what great players did off the field. He had their attention on the field. While Garrett has neither.
