Ron Rivera also wanted Hardy to stay in Carolina.
That's true.
Ron Rivera also wanted Hardy to stay in Carolina.
From Talking Cowboys Broaddus mentions Mincey as someone who probably felt betrayed by the team. Hardy got more snaps than anybody down the stretch yet was still late for meetings.
That's a good way to lose the locker room.
Hardy gone fellas
This makes Bosa a serious candidate at pick 4 if we pass on the QBs
Yes. Many people would read reports of his actions and see pictures giving evidence of such actions and come to the conclusions you have. Congratulations on being pro domestic violence! Awesome stance dude!
No..... we have to go cornerback.
Having a secondary generates a pass rush.
Selecting a talented DT or DE is not the answer. (jk)
Exactly..........when you start having different rules for different players, it starts to tear apart team chemistry.
Oh and for the record I do think Hardy has issues. I just don't happen to think that means he needs to be thrown away like so much human garbage. There are very few places in the NFL that have the type of support staff that the Cowboys have and we are uniquely equipped to handle a player like him.
The worst thing he has done since he's been here is tweet and be late for meetings.
Carolina wanted him the hell out, and got better when he left.

What Broaddus had to say certainly doesn't mesh with Mincey saying the following very recently: “I would love to come back. I love the Cowboys. I love everything about the organization”
Sends a bad message to the team if a guy can blow off team meetings and his play time is never affected
Other players start to think "why should I have to show for meetings if Hardy doesn't and there are no consequences?
"Along the way, Hardy became a constant headache for Jason Garrett. The Cowboys coach met with him at least four times to address his conduct."
4 times?
Red not really imposing his will is he?
Hardy gotta go.

Several impending free agents have expressed their desire to stay with the Cowboys...to include Mincey, Hardy, Dunbar, Jack Crawford, Claiborne, etc.
Mincey was playing injured & didn't produce a single sack all season...that's more likely why his snaps were reduced, in addition to wanting to get some of the younger guys like Gregory, Irving, etc. more playing time.
Speaking of being late for meetings: "The Jaguars released Mincey on Friday after he was late for another team meeting, according to a source close to the team. That comes nearly three weeks after he did not make the team's trip to Houston because he overslept and was late for a team meeting."

Jimmy treated better players better than other players. Won rings. Difference is Jimmy had control of the locker room.
Best of luck to you elsewhere Hardy. You're just not a fit for the good ol boy culture here.
was this before or after irvin stabbed a teammate? before or after the coke charges? before or after the "rape" allegations? before or after the whitehouse?
just trying to understand what part of the 90s cowboys were under his control.
