DMN: Safety Roy Williams wants Dallas Cowboys to act today

Gee, and Cowboy fans had only been waiting years for Roy to do a credible job as a SS

Can we safely say that Roy doesn't want to reconstructure? Because I'm pretty sure they would have asked him that question by now.
Or the team never asked and is going to trade him or release him.

That was 2002, wasn't it?

Yes, after Woodson was out for the season, which refutes the notion that Roy played well only when Woodson was on the field.

nice to see folks still splitting hairs about when Roy last played well.

Too freakin' long ago is the only answer that anyone really needs.

Hey Roy, SHUT THE HELL UP!!!

We will make a decision we we freaking feel like it.

:lmao: :lmao2: :mchammer: :nana: :whip:

Unfortunately, Roy went soft on us.

I really don't mean that as a criticism but I believe it's the truth.

I heard him interviewed on Jim Rome's show before last season and he acknowledged that due to the toll the big hits had taken on his body he had to change his aggressive style of play. I couldn't believe my ears. He actually acknowledged what a lot of us witnessed in his play.

You still don't care about what is true and what is untrue, I see.

That should work out well for you in life.

what is true is he hasn't made a play since like week 4 of the 2007 season.

LOL!

If I were Jerry, I would wait until the last possible second, what hs Roy done to think he can force Jerry's hand?

Only way I unload him anytime soon, is if we get a decent trade offer for him.

Make him wait, he hasn't shown up to work in a few years anyway.

I have no clue why Roy would believe anything would be done on his timetable...

No, I don't give a crap that Roy played well sometime after 2002 because that isn't why most fans don't like him. Folks have soured on him because he hasn't played well RECENTLY.

Yet you continue to focus on extreme points that skirt the real issues. Real issues like it has been a long *** time since Roy played well.

Tell me, who will be your guiding light if we release Roy?

Hey Beast_from_East, SHUT THE HELL UP!!!

you're not making any decision of importance and Jerry Jones doesn't even know you exist! (nor does he care)

That wasn't un-called for or anything.

Five interceptions, four forced fumbles and two touchdowns in a seven-game span isn't "doing well"?

Tough crowd.

Two touchdowns, in a 7 game span, that is impressive, when was that?

Thanks for proving my point once again.

Roy has never been my "guiding light," whatever that is supposed to imply.

Humble as always I see.

So, what you believe is the truth and anything else is untrue?

Or, are the stats the "truth" in indicating what a fine player he was/is?

The only truth when it comes to Roy is that he is soon (but much too late) to be an ex-Cowboy.

I disagree I think RW has been playing fine. It's just that he's not playing at the level people want him to that's the problem.
