Does anybody else feel the same way about this season and Dak?

Oh I’m angry at him and think he’s an embarrassment of a leader for our cowboys. Issue is jerry doesn’t see what we do

Please explain how he's an embarrassment of a leader? when i think of a leader to lead americas team he's exactly what id envision. Maybe hes not as talented of a QB as you'd like? Fair enough, but to say hes an embarrassment of a leader is a gross overstatement and not true.

Leading the league in INTS and stinking it up the past two playoff games against SF wasn't enough to get you angry at him?
Just seeing the guys that gave you likes makes me laugh. You guys have no idea...lol....go back to band camp!

It’s a team game. A few plays in game a can be the difference in a win and loss. When you get to playoffs then teams are even in talent. That’s when coaching makes a difference. There is only 1 brady. Not all qbs can take a team on its back for a whole game. In niners playoff games we had moore calling lousy predictable plays. Now that second pick Dak should have never thrown. That should have been a QB keeper. Or a run play. There was other mistakes made in that game by multiple players. Diggs drops an easy pick 6 and made business decisions in tackling. We reward him with a sweet contract. Dak made his fair share of bad passes. Let’s not harp on ints just yet. It’s not his track record. 2021 he had WRs and only had 10 with 37 TDs. If he has healthy WR this year the number will come down. If we can be balanced we can be deadly.
So you in essence slam Diggs for dropping a supposed pick 6 and getting a new contract in spite of his poor play yet you immediately say let's not harp on Dak's poor play?
Diggs was 1 year removed from leading the league in INT's with 11 yet you slam his play.....Dak tied for the league lead in INT's yet let's not judge him???? Come on man, the bias is too easy to see in that comment.

I keep reading that Dak lost the two playoff games. He didn't.

There have been 25 times in the playoffs since 2000 where a QB threw 2 INT's and their team still won. There has been 9 playoff games since 2000 where a quarterback threw 3 or more INT's....and his team still won.

Both Roethlisberger and Brady each threw 2 INT's in four playoff games.....and their teams won.

In the 2021 NFC championship game Brady threw 3 INT's in three consecutive drives in the 2nd half, two were in the 4th quarter. His team still won. In 2014 Russel Wilson threw 4 INT's and completed less than half of his passes against the Packers. He was sacked 5 times. The Seahawks still won. Peyton Manning threw 3 INT's in a playoff game against the Chiefs in 2007....His Colts still won.

Dak didn't lose the game because he threw 2 INT's in the 1st half. In fact, the game was tied halfway through the 3rd quarter.

The Cowboys lost because Dak threw 2 INT's....and Pollard got hurt in the 3rd quarter....and the defense couldn't stop the run when they had to......and the Cowboys defense were constantly penalized in critical situations.....and only one WR was getting enough separation.

One season does not make a career. Dak has an historically low INT rate. He is in the top ranks of almost every category.

Barring a devastating injury, Dak has 4-5 years left to play, maybe more. I think he has an excellent chance of being part of a Dallas Cowboys championship team.
Dak did not lose the San Francisco playoff games but the issue is he did not win them. Both games he had a chance to win the games with the ball in his hands but came away with nothing. Dak is reminding me of Danny White in the 80s. Two really good Cowboys teams but could not get past a young Joe Montana or the beginnings of the great Washington teams of the 80s-early 90s. Now I think White was better then Dak because he was a top 5 quarterback no question back then. I think our defense will carry us and I think Dak can lead this team to a Superbowl. The media is turning on Dak because you can’t question anything else on our Cowboys. This team is loaded.

If you are officially at super bowl or the season sucks and I won’t watch point, personally I’d just stop watching now. John elway waited his entire career and didn’t win rings until the end. Marino never got one. Rodgers has 1. All of those guys are on different planets in terms of talent than dak. Dak is nowhere as good but it speaks to just how hard it is to actually win a Super Bowl in this league.

Dak should be bashed when he sucks and he has sucked at times- that’s all fair but if you can’t get enjoyment out of the team or only think he’s good enough if he wins a super bowl THIS YEAR- then you’ll likely be disappointed. I get sick of the disappointment every year but I enjoy the ride also Imo more fans should as well.

Never be happy when we fall short but it also doesn’t have to be so black and white as OP is making it either. For me while the Super Bowl is always the goal, my first priority is getting over the divisional game hump.

So he stated a fact in terms of Dak's league lead in INT's and back to back poor playoff games vs. SF yet you claim he has no idea? Why is that? Because you have bias for supporting Dak perhaps?

Even Parsons stated in correctly: if not for the 2 Dallas turnovers (aka Dak INT's) Dallas wins that game and advances to the NFCCG. As for the 2021 playoff loss, Dak led Dallas to only 7 points through 3 quarters yet the Dallas defense was holding SF to 16 points halfway through 3 quarters....then Dak throws an INT on his own 26-yard line which leads to a SF TD and ultimately the deciding factor.

I feel like this season is Dak’s last chance to prove he can be a Superbowl winning QB. Time is running out for Prescott. I won’t hate on guy right now despite feeling his play isn’t good enough to represent Cowboy nation but if we don’t win the superbowl I’ll be angry and won’t watch another game until he’s gone!!!

Arlington Jonesboys have not won a Super Bowl since 1995 and won that with Jimmy Johnson Dallas Cowboys. So I do not know where you are getting these Super Bowl dreams from after +23 years of consistent disappointment.

Dak has done the best he can do with Jerry Dumbo GM Jones. Just like Romo. Dak is more committed. But Jerry Jones is still owner, GM, and defacto Head Coach with the same consistent disappointment for 23 seasons.

But the bottom line is Dak went into Tampa Bay on the road versus the Goat, a pretty good defense, and won a playoff game. Then Dak went to San Francisco and could not elevate his team to beat Mr. Irrelevant the next week. That is the Jerry Dumbo GM Jones consistency of disappointment because his goal is not to win Super Bowls. It is to keep the Jonesboys relevant.

You have not seen anything better since 1995, so don't get your hopes up with a team that is trying to replace Amari Cooper and Ezekiel Elliott in consecutive years. You are what you are.

It's not so much what Aikman did, it's what he didn't do. Dallas were considerable dogs going into that game. It opened up something like 49ers -6. It never got down to 3. What Aikman didn't do was crap the bed. Then was absolutely clutch at the end.
Yep…..its not what he did.

Aikman is the poster child for needing everything perfect around him.

You must be beyond angry if you think he’s an embarrassment of a leader for the Cowboys. He was just named NFL Man of the Year. I get that some of you don’t like him but get real!

Dak is this forum’s crutch. Many seem to think that success revolves around him. I don’t think he’s the story here. He won’t carry the team. He will be good enough if: the O and D lines are great. If those units perform very well, and the Boys are blessed on the injury front, then they can bring it home.

There’s no mystery about Dak. None. He will go as the o line goes, and will need the D to give the offense possessions and a low scoreboard.
and you can just about 30 other QBs to that very equation
