Body of work? lol, 2 years? Go take a look at Tom Landry's "body of work" between 1966 and 1969 and tell me how disappointed you are with him. If you don't have the balls to stick it out as a Cowboys fan, move the heck on.
GREAT FRICKING POST...:hammer:

Nobody said Norv built the team..Marty did. He is a damn good regular season coach..His track record proves that. They just needed another coach to take them to the next level. Marty is alot like Big Bill. They both built the team that is loaded with talent. People were ready for them to go cause thay couldn't win in the playoffs. I am surprised as anyone that Norv did aswell as he did but it shows they need a good offensive minded coach. Kinda of like here... Do you want to give wade the full credit for 13-3? I think if it wasn't for Jason Garrett and the offensive explosion last year we would not had a great regular season. Yes the defense improved but the offense carried this team.

This team needs to win in Dec. and in Jan. Yes Romo and TO was bang up.. but other teams had injurys and found a way to win.
Thats all I was say when I started this post. Do you feel Wade can get the job done...Personally I don't care what the do in the regular season(maybe Dec) its all about the playoffs.

Doesn't it seam all the Dallas teams have the same problem(except the rangers) great regular seasons...fail in the playoffs.

1. you're an idiot.

2. no, I don't give Wade full credit for our 13-3 season last year. I do, however, give THE TEAM(that includes the coaches) full credit.

3. yes, other teams had injuries and found a way to win. they didn't have injuries to their star QB and #1 WR at the same time. besides, how'd New England do with Brady's ankle injury in the Super Bowl?

The only two things I'm not liking is Felix Jones not returning kicks and the corners playing to soft until that changes I'm worried.

Why am I a idiot? Just because we don't agree on something doesn't make you right. I personally think with this team loaded with this much talent that we could win 12 games without a headcoach with garrett as the OC and whomever as DC. I do give Wade and the coachs credit..but I also give them the blame. I guess the coachs are not to blame for the Gaints loss... who Even TO was not happy with the game plan.

On the injuries..the chargers almost beat the patroits with a 1 legged QB and no MVP type RB. They did better than Dallas did(when we played them) and we had our QB and #1 WR.

I like Wade..Alot more than Bill(he left the team much improved though). I don't know if Wade can get US to the Superbowl. I would be happy with a playoff win. Just remember the window for a SB is only opened for so long.

besides the fact that everyone knows Felix and Pacman are very good at returning KOs and punts, so we need to figure out who else to put back there with one of them or if one of them gets injured?

oh yeah, and the fact that we're playing a very basic vanilla defense and don't want to show everybody everything we have on defense?

but Pacman have been returning punts.....

Our CB's have been playing soft like this since last year and it was because Jaquees Reeves was in the game and w.e. Now its because of pre season I don't think playing 10 yards off the ball is a vanilla defense nor would play closer to the LoS show everything we have on defense.

yes, but he didn't any the first game, and I don't think he's the only one returning punts at this point. in a real game, I'm sure he would be.

Newman isn't in there, Pacman's been off for a year, Henry isn't really that much of a threat... and these games don't mean anything. save the big hits and INTs for the regular season.

cheer up! at least we don't look like the Commanders...

It seems this coaching staff is scared and timid to use best players at a positions. Can you think how good this offense(team) would be with a playmaker in the punt and KO returner? Looks like we finally have one in PACMAN for punts..why not let him also do kicks? He did them with the Titans

With Stanback and Austin hurt.. Wade won't use Felix or Pacman?
There are probably the 2 best returners we have. Stanback has yet to prove himself, but I do like what I see when he does return(except for the fumble). We drafted Felix(rather had CJ) to releave MB3 and be the 3rd down guy and on draft day it was a selling point on Felix how good a returner he is , but WE ARE NOT GOING TO USE HIM :banghead: . I can understand not using him alot in preseason..maybe 2-3 returns total, but opening day I would try and get the ball in my playmakers hands(Felix,pac,etc..)

Can't the coaching staff see what a difference a good punt return(pac) makes on this team..now imagine returner that could take it the distance any time they touch the ball.

Also in Defense coverage..if they can play man(bump/run) let them play. THats what PAC excells at. I am so sick of the coaching staff playing the corners 7-10 yards off the reciever when it is 3rd and 3. What do you think happens?...they throw to the WR, we try to get there, but with 7-10 yards head start we miss the tackle and they get alot more than a first down.
MAKE THE OTHER TEAM EARN EVERY DAMN YARD..DON'T GIVE THEM ANYTHING!

Thanks for hearing my rant

I have much faith in this staff. Not so much in some posters.

Very good point. the idea that a backup RB wont be used on kickoff returns because he may get hurt is crazy. and getting Felix no reps with the first team is just as stupid.some of this stuff is hard to believe.

I can't believe how stupid some of this stuff posted is.:violin:

I think he will be but we might as well use him at KR considering he is the best KR on the team. He is supposed to be this big play maker guy so why not try and get him the ball more???

So far, the only coaches I have 'faith' in are Jason, Juraszek, Houckjavascript:openWinStats( 'team_coach_bios.cfm','Joe_Juraszek'); and Sherman...Outside of that, nothing impresses me...Stewart seems out of his depth, Campo is, well, Campo...Read is well documented fodder and Grantham seems to get the least out of what is there

At least Garrett running the TEs appears to me somebody who is going to be on Bennetts ***, so maybe there's something in him as a coach too.

But, not sure I see the same stellar staff that some do

Usually the leader in blitz percentage is about 36% of the time. Wade blitzed around that much, with Brian Stewart, in San Diego.

Last year the team blitzed nearly 30% of the time, up from 18% of the time under Zimmer in 2006. Stewart certainly does blitz and isn't afraid to do so. The big difference is Wade's philosophy is to send 5 pass rushers, whereas most D-Coordinators like to send 6 or 7 pass rushers. Still, it's hard to argue with Wade's pass rush success. He's been either the D-Coordinator or head coach in the NFL in 21 of the past 22 seasons and in that time his defenses have averaged 44.4 sacks a season, which is phenomenal.

And last year, the Cowboys finished 3rd in sacks (46), up from 34 sacks under Zimmer the year before and that was the most sacks Dallas has had since 1994. And to show that it wasn't just the team getting a ton of opportunites, the Cowboys finished 5th in pass attempts per sack last season as well.

Wade really runs the defense, Stewart more or less supervises it. But the philosophy is definitely Wade's and he's never been shy of blitzing, outside of the preseason.

YAKUZA

Not too big on stats but this is an occasion for them. Love you guys pulling this stuff up for most of the rest of us and you do this and a lot of things well. Try not to miss your posts.

Lets cut him now. Stop sitting on the stupid fence. The pre-season is almost done. It's too late for Felix. Get rid of him NOW!
And Tony needs to go too. Stupid QB can't win a playoff game! These guys are wasting cap space that could be used for a WR.

You are silly and amuse me. You are not yet on ignore. It takes more than you have to reach ignore status.

Although, by mid-season you may make it. I'm hoping for some improvment in you posting quality.:lmao2:

I never said we should cut Felix b4 the pre season. I think your getting out of hand in your attempt to mock me. You can at least try to be a little more consistent. I like Romo and I am really high on him and I defend him no matter what.

My stance on Felix. He wasn't the best RB on the board. He's going to be a bust. I didn't want the cowboys to draft. However since they did they might at as well put him to the must use. IF he is explosive as possible and is as good of a big play threat as they say then put him a KR something he excelled at while in college.

It's thats simple now that you understand where I am coming from on Felix Jones your attacks at me and your attempts at mocking me can stop.
