This season is done. It was done two years ago. We knew it then, know it now. The only surprise is that we've actually been competitive against a couple good teams. Losing to any team is no longer a surprise. We can hope that somehow we hang around the rim before the inevitable, losing draft spots, or just hope for a higher draft spot. Those are our choices. Fun time to be a fan.

This team cant draft defense, and they especially cant draft DTs. Id rather they trade for a proven DT than draft a guy and wait 5 years to see if he comes around then rinse and repeat.

If there was a proven DT available, who fits our scheme, I'd agree. Also, he can't be too used up, and needs to be a long term option.

Too late now. This needed to be fixed in the offseason, and in the past few drafts when we took Schoonmaker, Mazi, and Kelvin. Jerry screwed up badly, doubt if he's smart enough to realize it and use the offseason to fix it. Rather, hire someone to fix it, he's not capable.
 
The absolute worst thing Jerry can do right now is trade away draft picks. Please look at the big picture. This team is winning nothing if they trade all the picks away for defensive help. Jerry has so many brain washed into thinking winning games is something.
 
Dallas will need to trade for at minimum 3 defensive starters - DE, LB, DB. There is zero chance they have the draft capital to acquire 3 impact players now. No team trades away great defensive players - unless your GM is as dumb as a box of rocks like Jerry Jones.

New England just traded 2 guys....2 former starters...and literally got nothing for them. There are deals to be made.....It's our front offices inability to make it happen.

Kyle Dugger would have walked in here and been our best safety in 10 years......for a 6th....and we got back a 7th.
