This guy has vision like no rookie I've ever seen. Like, not kidding. If you don't believe me, look at his highlight reel. You can say it's just highlights, and I'll say, well, yeah, damn near 34 minutes of them. The guy is legit. You don't have to wait and see.

I know you're always grumpy, like one of the seven dwarfs.
Not trying to do the message board fight.
Trolling is a fishing term. If I entered an argument between you and
someone else, it was not intended.

lol…..now i feel bad. Well done!

yep im a little too grumpy no doubt

I hear you, bro. But go look at the guy's vision. He goes from 1 to a 100 in like .9 seconds. I mean, the mid-level acceleration and cutting ability is off the chain. Plus, he's great shooting between the tackles. Extremely disciplined route runner wherever he's at on the field. People keep saying 5'5'' blah blah, but go look at how many times he gets hit straight on.

People who watch his game know what I'm talking about. They know he'll be good. I just think there are a whole lot more who think he's a gadget player. No, he's not. And McCarthy will see it eventually too. It sounds like he does already. I just want him fresh for San Fran. A healthy Deuce and Pollard will be key if we match up with them again. And I still say history and current rosters say we do.

Sounds like a description of Jerry…..
Some of us have a little pep in our steps. I just know a real player when I see one. If that make upset, OK.

You are correct!
Trolling is a fishing term. Too many think it's a big headed dwarf who
lives under a bridge. Or, maybe, in a van down by the river!... lol

People aren't Trolls. People like to troll. Some do it better than others.
Some people...think that trolls are people that have the nerve to have a different opinion than they.

and some people would be correct. Differing opinions is ok but injecting differing opinions over and over in threads not related to differing opinions is the very definition of a troll. This site has plenty of them.

I could see Vaughn making some plays this season, but those of you who think he’s going to be the second coming of Barry Sanders, and Emmitt Smith are going to be very disappointed.

It's funny because you could say the same thing for almost any rb. If we were on a Falcons board and you said it about Bijon it would still be hard to argue. Lol

Deuce Vaughn is really really good at football.

His height is his biggest flaw and the only reason we were able to get him.

The dude is a 2 time All American and he’s as skilled of a runner as you’ll see.

The NFL bet against his size and it looks like they whiffed.

I don't want to get into some stupid debate. But picture this. What if Deuce is just durable. He was in college. It was never even a problem. I realize they are all prone to injury. But there are certain guys that are just built for the game. If he can stay healthy, you're going to be surprised by how much this guy can carry the load. You have to get on the surface to see it. Even Big Nate Newton said it. He said, something along the lines of being apprehensive at first. Then he saw his thighs, and said his thighs are as big as mine, he'll be fine. Then described how truly built he is. I'm paraphrasing there. Jerry is putting his knowledge to use finally. He's finally on top of his game again. And I think it bodes well on him to be working hand-in-hand with a guy who can coach his own son like that. At that height, and have him be such a class act and all that.

It's going to be fun. Because both of these guys can get 12-ish carries a game. Sprinkle in some Dowdle and Luepke and we've got ourselves West Coast Party going on in our backfield.

And by prolific, I mean in Dallas, and that he's going to be in the game a lot, eventually. May take some work. And they shouldn't rush him. McCarthy said it best. He just looks comfortable in there

I also think Jerry's timing with the tag was perfect. He's being well advised by McClay, obviously. But it's good to see them working together.
Can you just be one of the most prolific backups for the Dallas Cowboys ever instead of that? Please don't put expectations on this kid like that.. If he becomes one of the best change of pace backs we ever had that would be great.. But hacking like he could be better than Tony Dorsett Herschel Walker Ezekiel Elliott and Emmett Smith oh and DeMarco Murray.. There are more I'm forgetting but this is basically a franchise that's used to seeing some of the greatest backs ever play for us and you're putting this on this kid is ridiculous man and you're putting this on this kid is ridiculous man calm down calm down

calm down calm down

now the problem here is bijon Robinson would be expected to do that but the people underrating this kid because of his size DV is being underrated right now....

they're ignoring what he's done in high school and in college and what he's done so far in training camp....
They think his size is holding him back and yet somehow on every level it has not, He NOT shown to be injury prone, so no you can't say that about every back when you're talking about a guy that it looks like a long shot he's being underrated....
I think that it needs to be said, some people need to be in his corner because I think he's gonna surprise some people and he's gonna make some really big plays he just going to do it on a smaller scale, no pun intended, than what he did in college he's not going to have to tote the rock that much.
I expect him to be at least as effective as Tony Pollard and in that aspect out in pass plays, breaking the edge, and making moves and taking three-yard plays and making them 12 or 14...

I agree he can be good, but I like to see him play against bigger faster players than he has ever played against in college.
