News: ESPN: Claiborne demoted, skips walk-through

Mo didn't start Sunday.

I understand, but it was different last week. This week he was demoted outright.

Claiborne's demotion came a few hours after Jerry Jones said on his weekly radio show that the third-year cornerback had not been worth the sixth pick of the 2012 draft, which Dallas moved up to acquire.

Scandrick started the game instead of Claiborne because of the formation St. Louis used.

The one thing I agree with Mo on is that he has been here playing with a bum shoulder and made the clutch pick last game. Then gets benched for a guy that let the team down failing a drug test. I see his gripe.

Im pretty sure he got mad because they told him Moore would be the 3rd CB.

We will see. I still fail to see how this changes a lot. If a child throws a tantrum over being refused a third Twinkie versus not getting a pony, it makes a difference I guess.

No professionally paid player on any team, should ever walk out of practice.

Maybe if he was even half way serviceable the first 58 minutes he wouldn't need to make a play at the end.

He is not dependable. The only thing you can depend on is him missing his jam, losing his man in coverage and being a total nonentity in run support.

So you are saying he has a few holes in his game?

Lol at this chain of events. He would be so cut before the sun comes up tomorrow.

I was speaking to those claiming his mental make up is bad. In this day and age teams know what they are getting beforehand.
JJ might have gotten taken on this deal. He would never admit that because he's got such a great football mind and all.

He might have gotten taken.

But there were a lot of people from a lot of teams enamored with the kid.

Again, I think it's darned difficult to tell who has 100% commitment and who has 97%.

Well I wish we will make this quick of move on other guys on this team who also suck, cause Mo ain't the only one.

Course its all Mo's fault, our safeties are flawless in their play.

Ha ha, yeah just a few! I'm actually really bummed out Mo - I loved him coming out of college and thought he would be great at this level.

Wait, so this is not one of those "he owns the team, he can do whatever he wants" moments?

Shouldn't be, no.

Just because I don't gripe about Jerry constantly doesn't mean I love him talking to the media all the time. One of the biggest reasons I like Garrett is because he has Jerry under control in a lot of ways... or at least Jerry does what Garrett wants a lot of the time.

The question is how "bum" of a shoulder is it?

He's been nicked up so often since he was drafted at some point I'm sure the players on the team and the coaching staff question all the nicks & cuts and how serious they actually are or were.

That's not a bad point and I'd forgotten.

JG needs to hire Parcells to shadow Jerry. Get him on some egg shells.
