LOL

What a landing spot.

Al Davis' senility is in full effect.

Shut your mouth and get off my lawn you young hooligan.

This proves that Greg was solely about money (DUH!). Obviously the Raiders were the highest bidders and that was the only factor.

well i think we should have kept him till mid training camp to see if some teams linebackers/ passrushers got injured;

that way you might have been able to make a trade;

I was thinking the same thing.

But with the press dying for a story about any Cowboy dissention this would have run full bore and been a distraction.

But good luck to the Raiders.... 3 years......

Not too awful surprising...

I can't remember which young Cowboy it was, that went to Ellis' house for dinner. He said that Ellis spent a LOT of money on things and was very surprised at how extravagant a lifestyle he lived...

I remember another time another Cowboy talking about how Ellis liked to spend money, so he obviously was about the money...

That is a bit of a surprise I didn't even think of Ellis going to the raiders. I wish them the best other than the Thanksgiving Day game..

Must have been all about $. There's no way Ellis goes to the Raiders if he wants to win. Glad he's gone.

I don't know, maybe he just wants to be a starter.

I would have thought that his preference would have been to go to a 4-3 team... the Faiders run a 3-4 defense...

Ultimately, I'll bet they just made an offer that nobody else matched...

Chances are they did and I don't begrudge Ellis taking it. He is on the tail end of his career and the Raiders showed enough confidence in him to offer more than others may have.

since when?

Ellis = $$$$.

He always *****ed and moaned about his contract and job security. Now we know why! He may have helped the youngs out and thats great but his attitude and contant *****ing had to be a drag on the team in the lockeroom. He was a guy who was supposed to be a veteran leader and he was always portraying a negative, down in the dumps, whoa is me attitude. I'm soo glad he is gone!!!!!!!!!

Good Greg that is a good signing for the Raiders, I'm glad he is in not in the NFC East.

Only problem with that, is you then take away reps from his eventual replacement. Ellis is too good to sit around just waiting to trade. If he's on the roster, he needs those reps just as well.

without him here, you MUST move forward and see who can play and who can not.

Sometimes I think about what's worse:

A) Spending your whole career with one team that hasn't won a playoff game in 12 or 13 years.

B) or Being a Raider
