Even if you take Wentz over Dak, would you take Wentz, give up a 3rd, a 4th, give up a 1st in 2017 and a 2nd in 2018?

In other words: Wentz or Zeke, Dak, Collins, a 2017 1st and a 2018 2nd? The Bradford trade mitigates the loss of 4 players significantly, but still.

Yes, I would trade Dak for Wentz right now. Begrudgingly.

But I am MORE than happy with having Dak here because I didn't think we'd have our post-Romo QB so soon.

No way... Dallas pays Dak a 4th round salary, while they retain Romo as an experienced mentor. This is the best all around scenario, finances, cap money, etc. And Wentz doesn't scramble for TDs, when faking the handoff to the NFL's rushing leader.

How is he more accurate when statistics show he is less accurate?

Stats don't show that. Stats show that more of his passes are completed, which is a different thing. If anyone truly believes that Dak Prescott is the second most accurate QB in the league...well...I don't know what to tell ya.

Wentz comes with an extra year on his rookie contract. Not that a few million over 4 years should be a factor.

Oh heavens no. Anything but that.

I was just pointing out a Cowboys fan was pretending that every league exec quoted in the piece is just not thinking clearly. That you know better. About their own thought process.

L O and L.

Here, it's a debate. In the NFL world its a no brainer. Wentz is the superior player. By a lot too. i just have to be honest about it.
Well since they only have a few guys talking doesn't mean that's how they all think. Wentz isn't the superior player player to Dak and after the past few games anybody that still is arguing that Wentz has played better then Dak is either lying to himself, haven't watched the games, is foolish or just a Wentz homer........

Who said he's played better? Was that the question? Wentz has a higher upside, which is why all 6 of the pros said they'd take him. The two have been put in very different situations, so it's kind of hard to put much stock in the production.

I'd rather have Bill Gates' bank account than my own. I'd rather have the Rock's body than my own. The fact is, we're not getting that QB so this is stupid. We get what we get in life and nothing's going to change it. I wish I was 6'4, but I'm not. I wish we had Joe Montana but we didn't. You take the guy you have, and you go as far as you can go. Wishing only makes you miserable. Philly wishes they had 5 Super Bowl titles.

Bro you sound like Skee Lo -

I wish I was a little bit taller
I wish I was a baller
I wish I had a girl who looked good I would call her
I wish I had a rabbit in a hat with a bat
And a six four Impalla

I wish I had a brand-new car
So far, I got this hatchback
And everywhere I go, yo, I gets laughed at
And when I'm in my car I'm laid back
I got an 8-track and a spare tire in the backseat, but that's flat
And do you really wanna know what's really whack?
See I can't even get a date, so, what do you think of that?

I think anybody with a functioning brain to dress themselves in the morning pretty much realize Wentz is playing with slop. No #1 RB, no #1 WR, no #1 TE and now an OL missing their best player.

What the NFL world is saying is Wentz is the superior player and they are correct. I'd say it no matter what uniform they wore. Whereas you wouldn't.

Maybe you didn't read what I replied to so please comprehend what im replying to first. Next at this point.....which was the question.....which QB would you take. The correct answer is Dak. He has played and is much better right now.

Wentz is a more accurate passer than Dak. He has a lot more arm talent, quite frankly. A couple bad games during his rookie season, with poor offensive line play isn't going to change that.

Correct. It's not even close.

Wentz played ball at North Dakota State. He wasn't drafted for the first 6 games of his career. He was drafted for his upside - an upside that Dak simply doesn't have.

The correct answer is Wentz, which is why all 6 of the guys who are, or have been paid to made these call, said Wentz. If rolls were reversed, and we traded up for Wentz and Philly landed Dak late, you'd agree with us.

Dak doesn't have a number 1 reciever, has missed 2 of his OL but yet still out producing Wentz.

Sproles and Matthews have played very well for Philly and have averaged 10 plus yards a carry in some games this season. Wentz accuracy has been terrible and without his running backs and recievers catching balls high and almost in the dirt Wentz would have less interceptions. His recievers have made some very tough catches for Wentz.

Not only that Philly had a better team then Dallas. Dak was 3rd string taking over a 4-12 team that was 1-11 without Romo. Wentz has won games because of special teams and defense scoring. Dak hasn't had the defense or special teams score.

Doesn't matter the uniform they are wearing Dak has played better then Wentz but because your love fest of Wentz and hate for Dak you can't say it. You will go down with wentz before saying you were wrong.

Negative I wouldn't agree. Wentz has been the reason Philly lost and had 3 turnovers against Vikings. You keep talking potential but that's not the question that was asked

Come on, man. Would you trade our offense for Philly's minus the QB. The answer is hell no(!) and we don't need to pretend otherwise to make a point. Dak is in a MUCH better situation.

Put both teams players in a pot, and Dallas has the top 5 players - Smith, Martin, Freddy, Dez, Zeke.
