Yes, thank you for saying this. While he might be "old" in football terms, it's not like he has "brittle" bones that are more likely to break. People are acting like he's a 70 year old woman with osteoporosis.

I know once I turned 36 I couldn't walk down the street without breaking something new. Not really. :)

It's to the point where it's nauseating listening to him talk and say a whole lot of nothing every time he opens his mouth.
I hope you all realize Romo has been injured in four of the last five games he's participated in. Let me know when this begins to sink in people

QB controversy will divide this fanbase. I can definitely see Romo coming back too soon and getting hurt again. My hope at that point is we can finally move on. Just as Danny White is not appreciated properly, that is the fate of Tony Romo.

QB controversy? When Romo is healthy he is our starter. Last week the Giants didn't respect/fear our passing game which affected our ability to run. This team is built to win now and built to win with Romo.

There no need to rush Romo. Let him heal properly. When he is back at full strength, then pull Dak and let him learn.....unless he just goes nuts and plays balls out...then you keep the hot hand.

Understand that I wasn't suggesting nor implying that it was OK to do so. Jerry has his own ideas about bringing players back before they're fully prepared to return to action. For proof, one only has to look at what has happened in the past and the results of those early returns from injury. Players have been returned to action prematurely by the Cowboys staff in the past, only to return quickly to the rolls of the inactive. Without any question, it'd be ideal if those days were in the rear view mirror now but I wouldn't be one to bet on it. I would surely agree that it's best to allow Romo to heal completely and then some before activating him again. Here's hoping they do.

He's only been injured 3 times, two of which were the same injury. So he's basically been injured twice. There's been 2 times in Romo's entire career an injury has kept him out more than a couple games.

Yah, not with you on that one. This brass has shown how desperate they are to win now at all costs no matter what regardless of how smart or dumb it is. Jones was talking about playoffs when we were like 2-6 last year.
Why wouldn't they?
It's not like anybody in the division was willing to take it away and run with it.

I guess the part that says once again you are lying and full of crap
Last year's Giants game injured his back, Eagles game knocked out, Miami game actually made it through of course they were horrible, Carolina knocked out, Seattle third play knocked out
Let's review that's four out of the last 5 Games he was injured

Now put on your Romo's jammies and get back to bed.

Dak is better today and should not be caged. Let him lose... Just my opinion...

Oh, it's been realized.

Tony is coming back...so he can get hurt again. He's fooling himself if he, and the Cowboys, think he'll come back better than ever. The next injury is waiting for his return.

Truth is, why would he want to come back? He has everything he could want personally even if his professional life has been less than rewarding. That's great he wants to come back but why should he? At some point -- maybe not today but soon -- he will become a team progress-stopper.

The minute they pull Dak, Romo becomes a progress stopper. Dak does not need to sit on the bench and learn , I kept thinking during the Giants game he looked as comfortable as any other Pro QB all the learning he needs to do can be done on the field and in the film room. Give this kid two seasons on the field and he'll be ready for Super Bowl action

while he develops that is exactly what this team will do, lose.

So pretty sure they won't have to let him do it, its just the natural course for young qb's

Romo will heal. He will take over the starting QB position.

He will make it 3 plays. He will get seriously injured on a routine play again.

I'm not buying it. Romo's done. We're wasting $25 a mil a year on air.
