neither, both are burnt toast

Haha ok. Well pretend you dont have your HATER glasses on. If you had to pick one. Based on their play since they have both played for us. Who would you rather have?

I guess Smoot, but again, that's not saying much, cuz he's burnt toast

Fred Smoot gave up a TD something like every 6 passes thrown his way, which would be nearly twice as often as Mario Edwards

here I rendered the stinking play so we can all watch it. it is a low quality wmv. I didnt feel like waiting for a better render sorry.

http://www.4shared.com/file/14298248/8540d435/glenn_taylor_coverage.html

anyway you will see on that play that Dallas is in a heavy close singleback set. Extra lineman on the field and only two wr running routes. there is no slot wr in that formation.

Also it looks to me that washington is in some sort of hybrid nickel with only two linebackers and springs, rumph, wright, rogers and taylor in the backfield, when glenn goes in motion springs points to taylor, then taylor gets beat. and rodgers is dreadfully out of position.

WItten didnt run a route, he stayed into block and I dont even see arch on the field.

Nice job of breaking that down. Although I was talking about the first game.

Ok that wasnt so hard now was it? In all seriousness though, Smoot has played a lot better for us for the 4 years than Wright ever did in his 1 season with us. Now that doesnt mean that Smoot will have a great year and make us all happy hes back with us, thats yet to be seen.

then why bring Smoot up? he's not a significant improvement over what you had helping Taylor in the secondary last year

Dude, all we're doing is throwing facts at you. You can homer out all you like, but anywhere other than Extreme Skins, people are just going to laugh at you.

Actually, it's anything but facts. It's OPINIONS. NOT FACTS. Unless STATS, AdamJT13, and any other homer Cowboys fan knows the exact plays being called for certain, than no, it is NOT FACTS.

I tell you what. Go to any other teams' message board and make the same claims that you make over here about your team's players. See the respone you'll get.

I bring him up because he will most likely be starting once Springs gets hurt, because lets be honest.......Springs (as much as i love him) will get hurt and miss games. I'd rather see Smoot instead of Wright because I think he will play better. There you go.

He may have been bad in Minnesota, but Smoot was a good player for us and even David Macklin is a better player than Wright. Mike Rumph was a better player than Wright. I have no idea how that guy started for Jacksonville. He was flat out horrible.
