I’m usually a guy that’s “independent” and is down the middle. I think Dak can be awesome and then disappoint in big games. But these posts bother me. I don’t think people hate Dak. I think people are scarred from the Garrett years. I think up until Garrett people cheered for anyone at QB etc. That 10 yr stretch soured people on how things are run and Dak unfortunately was part of it. I think the stink of Garrett permeates into frustration on not winning big games/playoffs. It’s not good but I think this is the truth. This won’t be read on page 9 but I think it’s the answer. I think those 10 yrs led to resentment of Jerry which trickled down

We all know there are fans who root for losses because they believe it will drive decision making that is in line with a “burn it down and start over” strategy.

I’m not at all “hyped” about beating up on the giants but I’m pretty happy to win!

Well, one thing we can do is not get so personal about it.

All that does is make people become even more entrenched in their personal bias.

I don’t remember people rooting against him. There were lots of people who thought the wins were misleading and attributed to Rush rather than the rest of the team stepping up.

I personally think Rush is an average, at best, NFL backup so I do take strong issue with fans who talk about making him the starter. I think that’s just crazy.

nobody was rooting against Rush. so don't get overly dramatic. Everyone could see the limitations. it was even abundantly clear yesterday after Rush came in the game that the balls just take a long time to get to the spot. perhaps Rush would be really good in dink and dunk offense when arm strength is not an issue.

We should be having fun, celebrating and appreciating a QB who is among the league's best, leading the team to what looks like it might be a third 12-5 season (and the playoffs), plus is now solidly a bonafied MVP candidate for this 2023 season.

Not according to Vegas. Dak isn’t in the top 10 of league MVP odds. The main knock on Dak is coming up short in the playoffs……. Just like Romo who was given the same treatment on this web site. If you are a QB for the Dallas Cowboys , you will always be compared to the rings of staubach and Aikman. That’s not going to change.
