I would think Goodell would've learned his lesson by now.
If he would've just let the courts decide the whole Ray Rice thing he could've saved himself from all of that drama.
Goodell needs to let the courts decide. If he is not charged with anything then he should not be punished.
You cant suspend these guys for every single time they get accused of something and have to go to court for it.
NFL is appealing Judge Doty's decision that they can't retroactively punish players with new punishment. But I can't imagine a court over-ruling what appears to me to be a very sound decision.

I actually think the NFL should appeal Judge Doty's decision. I think the Court of Appeals has
overruled Doty several times. Hardy's case is serious because he bought his way out of
conviction on appeal. IMVHO, I think Hardy deserves another year suspension. Family
physical abuse is serious though many on this board seem not to think so.

I don't have all of the details.
All I know is what the court decided and based on that he should be eligible to play football asap.
6 games for what, on charges being dropped? Goodell has no chance as there will be an appeal and he will lose and look foolish again.
Whatever. I would still sign him. Guys that can get to the QB don't grow on trees.
The court had no choice since he paid off his girl friend to hide from the DA and not testify against
him on appeal. Sleazy Lawyer's trick.
If suspended, would he still be allowed to participate in offseason workouts, training camp and practices during the season?
