How have the Raiders performed the last 4 years?
Poorly.
How have the Raiders performed the last 4 years?
Well, that's at least a realistic alternative.
I don't, frankly, think any sane person would look at this team and say we would be better off eliminating Dak and Parsons, and adding Mac Jones or Justin Fields. But it's an opinion and you're entitled to it.
But he's 14th now in positional spending. Does that justify his contract despite average-good (mostly average) QB play?Poorly.
Like l said though.. Dallas had multiple years to figure it out. It wasn’t just a 1 year thing.
Recent drafts? The Cowboys haven’t had a top pick since 2016. This was the first year they had a chance at a QB and none have been overly impressive. Are you suggesting they trade multiple 1sts to trade up? For whom?
Remember we just drafted the DROY and possible DPOY.

Also, drafting him means no Micah.
Good QB’s grow on trees, remember? You’re making too much sense…no need to waste you’re time arguing with folks who have their mind made up.Lmaoooooo dude. The Washington Football Team would’ve absolutely taken him. Denver would’ve absolutely taken him. Detroit would’ve absolutely taken him. Chicago would’ve absolutely taken him. Carolina would’ve absolutely taken him.
Not sure if you guys really follow the league or not. You see what the Vikes did for Kirk? Even if you don’t think Dak’s that good a desperate team absolutely pays him and leaves us with no QB. Every offseason there’s a desperate franchise that takes a big swing at a QB. Chicago paid Mike Glennon lol. Jax paid Foles. You think no one pays Dak lol?
If y’all think other teams wouldn’t have offered the guy 38+ M you’re severely out of touch. Not to mention more than 30M. 35M would’ve been a steal in this market, 1000% someone signs him for more than 30.
C’mon guys that’s not even a plausible option.
These are specious arguments.... There are many ways to maneuver for draft position and personnel but if you're not even trying then you've lost already.
Yes Dakota's contract is hurting the defense
Dak Haters are..........(fill in the Hate)
I assume they meant that we could’ve traded Dak for at least two 1sts (maybe more) in addition to the onewe already had.1) Brady wasn't coming here. Like Peyton Manning, never was a fan of the Dallas Cowboys. To get him would have meant we'd have to overpay. No thanks.
2) Herbert went #6 overall in 2020. Dallas picked Lamb 11 picks later at #17. Someone tell me how Dallas messed up in not getting Herbert? Do you know how much draft capital it would have cost to get him?
Someone said it best: in a couple years Dak's contract is going to fall into the bottom half of the top 10 vs. what it is right now. Meanwhile the CAP will continue to go up, hopefully outpacing inflation, which is a real thang these days.
Yeah they had options to tag him and if anyone wanted to sign him, which they wouldn’t have, then Dallas would get multiple first rounders.
It’s not hard to assume what it would take to make a move. When you’re in the bottom half of the first round you have to give up multiple 1sts move up for a highly touted QB. It’s not simple maneuvering, it’s mortgaging the future for a dice roll. The amount you’d have to give up for a less than 50% chance of success isn’t a smart move. These are specious arguments....
