meh, Just another list. In all honesty, there are a ton of QB's bunched up anywhere from 5 to 17. Depending on what you are looking for, age, type of offense would impact where those guys are ranked. I really enjoy Romo although his injuries and his age are starting to be cause for concerns. It will be a grim day when he leaves here though, unless we stumble into the next great QB. If not, and I expect we won't, these 8-8 years will feel like the glory days.

The lack of respect for Wilson's ability is sickening.

Did you watch Wilson play?

1 Marshawn left for 4
2 Marshawn right for 4
3 Wilson rolls out for a safe pass or runs for 5

Defense forces three and out.
repeat

All year long

He plays safe and doesn't make many mistakes. That's ok, but it's not better than Brees. Not by any stat you can come up with.
Think of it like this, Seattle can win without Wilson. Can Wilson win without Lynch?

This is the face of a man that..

A) Never Won a Superbowl as a GM
B) Never drafted a Franchise QB

He is a LOSER in life in regards to the NFL.

Enjoy retirement old bitter man.

Romo is nothing more than an average QB in the league right now and declining. I agree with that ranking.

As far as JUST THIS YEAR goes, I'd say he's around the 12/13 range...I can't put him as low as 15.
1. Peyton
2. Brady
3. Rodgers
4. Wilson
5. Luck
6. Foles
7. Rivers
8. Brees
9. Cam
10. Alex Smith
11. Kaepernick
12. Romo

And as far as Foles goes,

He looked awesome in the first meeting in Philly. Did he even get close to a TD in that game? And in the last game against a backup QB who hasn't played in years, a historically bad defense, with everything on the line, would have lost if Orton doesn't throw that pick.

I still can't get over 9 10 and 11. Does Kaeper's even complete 50%? I drafted him in my fantasy league and he singularily destroyed me.

This guy is just ranking the QB's off of last year alone. I think he is pretty accurate.

Couldn't disagree more.

Romo is "often the reason the team can't advance"?

Truly laughable. I guess he should start showing up more on defense.

The team relies too much on Romo and he consistently cracks under his own pressure.

That's a problem.

When you constantly ask Romo to win inspite of the poor playcalling and bad defenses..

..you are asking for all sorts of gyrations at the QB position to do that.

which is what we are getting.

Gyrations.

Inconsistent play forced from a QB that really doesn't have top shelf skills.

That's a recipe for overall and long-term failure.

Playing QB is like a love affair and a marriage.

The love affair is great..

everybody is happy you found a mate.

As the marriage grinds along, the little flaws in the other person begin to magnify..

..whereas before you overlooked it all out of love.

ruined many a man and many a team to be too in love with someone.

Just ask Marc Anthony and Cleopatra.

Link: http://www.thesidelineview.com/colu...ngelo-rates-every-quarterback-2013-nfl-season

"He has a blind spot. His instincts are just average and his accuracy is not consistent enough given the amount of times they let him wing it and that’s what he does...wing it. His mental toughness is suspect and physically he is the danger zone given his two back surgeries."

I stopped reading after he had Alex smith higher . He also has cam newton higher than Drew Brees . lol

All I have to know is..

In the NFC Conference Championship game..

when Kaspernic had 3 turnovers in the 4th QT. to lose the game for the 9ers..

Twitter went crazy with comparisons of him and Romo and choking.

Them guys also don't know football..right?

Careful..denial is one of the first signs of insanity.

Nothing better than having Cleopatra and Romo in the same post.

I did not even have to open up this thread to just guess at some of the distressed outrage that Romo was unfairly judged and therefore, disrespected.

I have never quite understood that reaction. Does it really matter if he were ranked where some think he should be?

Would it mean more wins if he were ranked in the top five like some deluded people actually believe? Do people actually take pride out of fake rankings and such because the team is so incapable of being elite?

Back when we were winning championships and playoff games, Troy Aikman was never considered the top QB in football. Even Emmitt Smith took a backseat to Barry Sanders. Did not care then, especially do not care now. But at least then you could chuckle and point to the scoreboard.

Look at it this way. Now Kaepernick has established his base line for the next 10 years.
