No need to dog Wilson. He's a good QB, but saying he doesn't benefit from a great supporting cast is ignorant.

He does. But the reason Angelo puts him at 9th is:

He has all the savvy you want for the position. His size and arm talent limit him. You can win with him, because he follows the script and can make plays down field. He keeps defenses honest with his play making ability. A great leader

Again. Fairly spot on.

Despite the Angelo bashing, he wrote something potentially insightful that I have never seen before.

Romo's "blind spot". I'd be interested to see exactly what this means.

He has shown a penchant for losing LB especially to his left. The Bills were the first team to take advantage of it early in his career.

Lol. Wilson at 4. Get real. On that team, a dead man can be #4.

Lol. The hate on Wilson is hysterical. Especially after winning a Super Bowl his 2nd year. Yet the praise Romo gets for accomplishing nothing is just silly. But I forgot, place Romo on all these other teams and he is a Super Bowl winner, too. Yeah, sure. Seahawks don't even make it to the Super Bowl with Romo. This GM is right. His instincts are not that great and he is not that accurate. Wilson is a very good QB and makes every play his team needs. Romo doesn't. Do you even watch any of his games or just talking out of your rear end because you see good defense and automatically think any QB can win? Have you seen the WRs he is throwing to? A bunch of JAGs.

No way in hell is Alex Smith, Colin Kaepernick and Cam Newton better than Romo.

If Romo had their defenses he'd be in everybody's top 5-6 QB's list.

Ahhhh yes. The classic if....If if if....Fact is, Romo has had many chances to prove everyone wrong over the years and hasn't. He's had the ball in his hands to change his perception and hasn't. So keep living in la la land thinking a good defense would change who he is at QB.

Flavor of the month.........

Welp, 2 of those 3 QBs have accounted for the last 3 straight NFC title games and one came real close to a Super Bowl victory. I wish we could have a flavor of the month and not the consistent failure we have here. But I guess the logic is since ours is actually a consistent failure and has been since 2006, that it's better than a "flavor of the month" who actually can win playoff games. Heck even get to the playoffs for that matter.

Give Tony one of those defenses, he would be flavor of the month as well. That is all I meant, nothing more and nothing less. Romo is plenty good enough to take one of those teams to a SB but we will never know :(

This guy is just ranking the QB's off of last year alone. I think he is pretty accurate.

Romo is nothing more than an average QB in the league right now and declining. I agree with that ranking.

Wow, what a shocker! You really caught me off guard with your comments ....

It's hilarious when people try to call Romo "average", or just another QB. The Romo haters want to judge him individually, yet they don't want to talk about his individual statistics, it's funny how far haters will reach just to "attempt" to justify their view point. I also love the haters who say they don't want to bring up his statistics about how good he is, yet then they'll turn around and bring up his W/L record in the very same post, hilarious. :D

Oh well, it's something to talk about, though totally unoriginal.

Romo has his flaws.
But regarding him, I prefer the opinions of Staubach, Aikman, Belichick, and most other QBs and GMs over this one guy...in this case.

He's not totally out in the woods though. But, btw, he has no more experience as a GM or in football than Jerry does. I say that and I'm not even a fan of GM Jerry.

Is a defense going to stop the brain farts?

As far as JUST THIS YEAR goes, I'd say he's around the 12/13 range...I can't put him as low as 15.
1. Peyton
2. Brady
3. Rodgers
4. Wilson
5. Luck
6. Foles
7. Rivers
8. Brees
9. Cam
10. Alex Smith
11. Kaepernick
12. Romo

Hahaha brees behind Foles luck brees Wilson. And romo behind Alex smith ??? Hilarious how the hate for romo is

He throws to those Jags only 10-15 times a game. Mostly on high percentage rollouts. He's All Pro at that.

Wilson is a very good bus driver. A really really nice bus.

I love a thread replete with the word "haters". Always makes for lively and insightful discussion about Tony Romo.
