Former Cowboys safety Williams going to Bengals

I for one wish him luck. I still like the guy and hope that he returns to being that fierce hitter that we once saw.

I think if the Bengals look to play him up close almost like an extra LB that Roy can have success with Cinn. He does well in the underneath coverage but struggles in deep coverage, he is not the only SS to have that problem but Roy can lay the wood. I wish the guy the best and have nothing against him at all.

But he really didn't lay any wood when we tried to move him to the LOS, most of his big hits came against smaller receivers in days of old. If Roy had been injured or aged, I'd have more sympathy for him, but he got paid (big time) and then got lazy - it's his own fault.

I guess they need someone to get torched in coverage and point fingers at other people like it's their fault. You always need one of those.

:laugh2:Always!

Seriously? Shut up about church buddies.

You are all about religion bashing now?

Where do you get off doing that? You might want to chill out about all that.

Critique RW - fine but leave the mans beliefs out of it.

Grow up a bit, is all im asking. All of you.

Since when do you folks start bashing a persons beliefs?

I had hoped he could renegotiate and remain a Cowboys player for his entire career. I don't buy the crap spewed about him. I think he's a good football player.

Is it just me or will Hard Knocks be a repeat this year. Tank Johnson, Roy Williams, an inept owner, and a primadonna WR. Seeems exactly like last year.

You forgot about 'Mr. Man Boobs' running around without his shirt on for all the ladies.

:laugh2:

Does this mean that his family members will now be moving to the Bengals message boards?

I bet they get a new cap expert. :D

I despise him more than any former Cowboy ever. He had everything needed to become lifelong Cowboy and HOF player but he got his money and flat out quit. I don't see how anyone can still support that loser and not see him for what he is. He signed his extension, came back the next year, and all of a sudden couldn't play football anymore. He pointed the finger at everyone else everytime he got beat, quit laying the wood, and generally looked as if he didn't care anymore. If I never hear his name or see his face again in my life it will be too soon.

Bungals do nothing but sign, draft, and keep horrible players. The have had character issues and what do they do? They sign Tank Johnson, draft Andre Smith and Rey Maualuga, and let TJ leave while keeping Chad Johnson.

Man, they should just burn the teams facility down and walk away.

whats wrong with Rey?

Best of luck to roy

Same here. I really thought that since nobody was interested he would come back here for cheap. Oh well...I'd like to see him do well in Cincy.

LOL...because so many of the Roy fan club have shown everyone how to do so.

Far more so than his detractors? Yes.

...or does this mean you get to whine because Adams' minions are disagreeing with you again.
