Well, if big bad roy is from where it seems to be, it appears that virtually no one takes care of business THEMSELVES with all the crime that happens there.

So what severity of crime meets your criteria in order for some one to come forward with knowledge of a crime or perpetrator? And it's ok to be a snitch only when it benefits you?

How are you going to take care of it? Will you be the investigator, jury, judge, and excusioner?

Also, wouldn't you want a crime to be solved as quickly possible? Which would be the case if a snitch stepped up to the plate to point the finger at the criminal. If it's a complicated case, it could take years to solve it.
i'm not talking about taking care of it in court buddy. man are all you texans this soft?

Humans have a choice.

Parts of this thread are a bit like the feeling you get when you see a car accident- sickening, but difficult to look away. Props to Silverbear and JackRussell for demonstrating their humanity and intelligence, along with some others. But there are several posters in this thread that have earned a spot on my ignore list because they obviously lack those qualities. It would be hard after reading what they had to say on this issue to take anything they have to say seriously.

The difference is that humans have a choice...

If they wish to do that sorta stupidity more power to them. The animals have no choice.

So you're telling me those dogs made their way to that house in Virginia so they could become fighters? They decide not to eat?

Interesting.

..and if boxing fights were to the death they would also be illegal. Dog fighting is closer to the level of the Romans using the Christians and the lions for entertainment-perverted and despicable.

True.

Just when you think you've "digested" all the ignorant thoughts anyone could possibly come up with on a single thread-- some other supposedly "civilized" person comes in and tops'em.

Amazing.

cowards=snitches

This is the 'Hood' talking. Must be Gansta time where you are from!

I am a retired peace officer, and I told on people for a living. I guess that makes me, and every other law enforcement officer in the nation cowards as well.

You brag about taking care of business yourself. Well, I guess you have never been wrong in your life, or been accused of something you were innocent of. Our legal system is not perfect, far from it, but is as good or better than any other in the world. It is intended to protect the innocent. That is why guilty people go free. Because of the high standards.

But I guess you would rather have someone bust a cap on your butt rather than let some coward snitch you out and make you face a jury. Even if you are innocent.

Enougn with the OG image, dude!

This thread is yet another reminder that Tex Schramm was right when he said "Nobody ever went broke underestimating the intelligence of the American public." Somebody said he was quoting H. L. Menken, I don't know about that but I do know I heard Schramm say it.

I, too, grew up in a place where it was considered cowardly to snitch on someone who had beaten and robbed people. Siding with and protecting the criminals and bullies instead of the victims is sick and demented and people who support criminals and scorn helpless victims deserve whatever pain and injury comes their way. As soon as I saved up enough money from my $1.25/hour job, I moved away from that town and felt freer and happier than I ever felt before.

In my opinion, people who abuse and victimize other people need to be in prison where they can appreciate others like themselves and enjoy their lives to the fullest.

I wasn't either, that is the reason why I asked you if YOU will be the investigator, jury, judge, and excutioner.

Interesting that you didn't respond to other comments on that post.

I'm lost.

Pulling on a cow's udder to get milk is a form of violence..?

Vigilante justice is common and (worst) acceptable way of life for some..?

Dog fighting and ultimate fighting are equalivant to apples and apples..?

And these are just some of the examples on this thread.

My brain hurts.

Winicki, if that's a scene from Deliverance, you hit the nail on the head.

Jesus needs to come back quick. Some of us have lost our damn minds.

I think the most hilarious part of this thread is the crowd crowing about how horrible of an act this is, its against the law, etc....

And then not giving Vick a chance to defend himself first before we attach the guilty label.

Innocent until proven guilty, or have we forgotten that?

Or is it, innocent until proven guilty (unless its a Cowboy player, or a well liked player)?

Sickening, indeed.

Actually, vintage, Vick pretty much disapeared after some started saying that dogfighting was not so bad. You need to read a little before you post.
