I get it, the defense sucks...a player got hurt, the coach sucks...but Dak had the football in his hands.

This thread and hatred is about Dak performing as a QB against the 49ers. So let's take a peek at what the Eagles QB did against the 49ers. Jalen Hurts had 121 yards passing ZERO TDs. 39 yards rushing with 1 TD. 160 total yards 1 TD for Jalen. Jalen didn't so well against the 49ers defense either, did he?

The Eagles TEAM played better against the 49ers. Plain and simple.

It's not easy for any team going in as the underdog to upset a better team in the playoffs. I'm not even talking about the line. The line doesn't always favor the better team. You can put the blame on whoever you want, but the better team usually wins.

There are the occasional upsets, and they are fun to watch. But not since 1992 have the Cowboys been able to do that.

Given that the 49ers were jumping our run calls every time. I don't think it is all on Dak either. I think Dak started playing like Grier in desperation which only served to make things worse.

The last one fell heavily on his shoulders but the defense played a bigger role than Dak in the loss in 2021. They completely destroyed us on the ground for 169 yards rushing. It was complete dominance in the trenches. They marched right up the field on their first drive with no resistance. No way was that game mostly on Dak.

I’m never a whoa is me type of guy with Dak, like a ton of people on here. He’s our QB, just like Romo before him. But he wasn’t great in either of those two games. The first one was actually better than the last IMO.

Dak.is not elite. So everyone is p!ssed why he doesn't play like an elite QB.

And here’s the thing…after that 49er’s loss 90% of the people on this board were fed up with Dak. Even some of his most ardent supporters stated as such.

He needs to step up in early 2024 or that chorus will get much louder and it’ll be time to move on.

context matters very little o these folks. it just is what it is at this point. only thing that can be done is for Dak to consistently win in the playoffs and bring a title home.
