I could pick out 3 plays that defined Dallas' season last year:
- The 4th and forever conversion by Rodgers that lead to GB's comeback
- The 3rd and 10 long pass by Dallas when they had Jacksonville down with no timeouts, giving them enough time to even up the game
and
- The INT by Dak in the 2nd quarter of the SF game. Dallas driving in the redzone and score tied 6-6
The last one really changed the complexion of the game and the butterfly effect is huge. Without it, Dallas goes into halftime with a lead and plays different in the 2nd half.
Overall Cowboy fans tend to remember the 2nd half of that game with Dallas flailing around impotently but the first half was a different story. Dak deserves a good bit of heat for that game. Dallas also got the ball after a TO on the SF 21 and only managed a FG early in the 3rd. That game could have been 17-6 in the 3rd with a little better QB play.
