Me too. Dude is explosive and actually has calves. Big calves. That gives him a major +1 over DMC.

Christine Michael...

This boards new Ryan Williams...

Not really. Ryan was often injured and never proved an ounce of anything while given plenty of opportunity. This guy is healthy and getting a second chance in a different system after being in a system behind beastmode which means you will never see the light of day while he's there. It happens all the time and more than 50% of the time it works out in favor of the second team.

Stephen Jones:
"We've said all along we were comfortable with the three guys, but we did think it was the smart thing to do to bring in a fourth," Jones said. "Over the course of a season, everybody gets their chances. Christine Michael is going to get his chance, and when he does, I think he'll do well."

Marshall Faulk (to Michael Irvin):
"I don't know enough about him but Marshall told me, he said, 'Hey man, just listen. I'm going to say it, it's my job. I'll tell the truth. He'll be starting in a couple weeks. That boy is bad,’” Irvin said, per the Dallas Morning News. “He said, 'Michael, that boy is bad. I'm telling you right now.' He said, 'Man, he was hiding up there.

“They found something.' He said he's got dog in him. He's got that dog in him. I said, 'He got that dog in him?' He said, 'Man, he's got real dog in him. He got some real dog in him.'”

The run game has to get better. Regardless who it is, it needs to step up. Yards will be even harder to come by w/o our two top Dawgs on offense. Someone needs to step up. I think the next couple of games will be telling as to what direction we'll be going.

Wow, I actually saw Randle make something out of nothing many times. I guess it's all perspective.

I agree that he has created yards that weren't there. I still perceive he's easier to take down than I like. So he creates yards with his movement, but he loses yards others could get due to his power. I have seen Randle breaking some tackles and I also admit to a heavy bias to see CMike succeed so I know my perceptions are likely skewed. I've wanted to get CMike here the last couple of years.

See the problem with these stats is by the way it sounds it's our OL or scheme that is bad and no one has blocked well enough. If that's the case, Falcons defense have improved and it's Weeden's first game so let's not go by that. The Saints; yes. Then we have the Patriots; definitely not gonna go by that. Then the Giants, Seahawks, and Eagles again. Now, all this without Romo. Just saying boys...

Honestly, if Michael could prove he can protect Romo our QB, I wouldn't be opposed to him replacing McFadden on the active game day roster. I'm not nor have I ever been a fan of McFadden, but one thing McFadden can do far better than Michael, is protect the QB.

Not looking like this is the week....

Cowboys RB Christine Michael will likely be inactive against the Falcons in Week 3.

This will be his third healthy scratch in a row. For now, the Cowboys are comfortable using only three backs. Michael still boasts plenty of theoretical upside, but it doesn't look like he's going to get a chance to tap into it any time soon.
