Fuzzy Thoughts After vs SF

I'll admit that I have been very critical of Jeremy Mincey, but he was one out of only a handful of people that showed up to this game. He earned a lot of respect from me after this game.

lol
only in your world do teams that play "pretty good games" go down 28-3

See, this is why I don't like to discuss things with you. You intentionally ignore what's actually been said, and proceed to argue a point I'm not making. Also, you can't use the quote function properly.

I said other than the turnovers that led to the scores that put us in the hole. When you read what I wrote above, you see that, right?

Either way, it doesn't matter. I don't believe it's possible to have a reasonable discussion with you, so this one's at an end. I'm serious, though, that you ought to take more care in how you interact with staff and your fellow posters. It's not a good experience for anybody.

That's uniary thinking, and I hate that, too. Anything less than trinary is right-out.

Since we went 3 straight posts with cliches - I added my favorite. In the end, nothing I can do about it, not gonna worry myself into a frenzy if I cant change it.

My ex-wife has taught me alot. Uniary thinking makes somethings in life alot simpler - I dont really care the shade of crazy - dont really care how it got there. I just need to not be near it

You already know I disagree on Wilcox so I'm not going to bother.

I had (have) high hopes for Wilcox, but I was really pretty disappointed in him yesterday.

What about him I am confused. I went from being high on him going in to being skeptical of him moving forward.

I think "horrible" was a little left of center. He had a bad play on the Vernon Davis TD, but I otherwise liked that our safeties tended to limit the deeper passes.

Now if you wanted to go after Brandon Carr a little bit, go right ahead. I was a big fan his first year here, but his level of play has been in steady decline since he picked off Roethlisberger when the Steelers were in town. I think he might find himself out of a Dallas uniform after this year. Orlando Scandrick is very clearly our best cornerback with Morris behind him.

He overran some other things. And seemed to be chasing more than he was anticipating. He tackled okay aside from the over runs but he seemed confused to me on multiple snaps. He seemed to calm down in the second half.

I really need to see the all-22 stuff because I will also say that he was asked to do a lot. He played that nickel role in place of Moore and sucked at it. His work on the back end was better. He also seemed to struggle with that underneath coverage to help the corner on cover 3. It's hard to tell without knowing the playcalls but I can only say what I thought I saw.

I am not down on Wilcox as much as I was when I first saw it. I don't know how many NFL snaps I have seen him in that nickelback role he's ever had but i would put the o/u at 1. I also understand that some of his issues in taking the underneath was because of how the CB was handling staying on top but they all looked like they were concentrating on their drops more than they were on the receivers.

This coaching staff has done a poor job teaching zone principles.

I'm fairly certain the Cowboys rank in the bottom 5 in defensive passer rating. That's been the bane of our existence over the past few years.

I foresee a very tall cornerback that runs like the wind, yet finds a home in zone coverage....
