Good.
So Jerry institutes an edict implemented by Parcells, and people still rag on him. And the owner is the GM. He has power over the head coach. Simple organizational structure that exists everywhere in the NFL, except the fact that the GM is the owner.
You just said perfectly.
Jerry Jones is now what Bill Parcells was when he was here.
How do you not see that?
Wade is the head coach, not Jerry. The assistants were told not to talk by the head coach who is the guy who is supposed to be in charge of the football team.
The structure of the team is now back to the way it was in 2000.
Jerry is sitting on the throne as 'King' and any one under him that isn't a player, but that works for the Cowboys is a 'Court Jester'.
The fact that Jerry even has to send out the memo because Wade has lost control of the team is a travesty. And it's the #1 reason why this doofus should have been shown the door the day after the Eagles game.
Theebs is right about this being partially about Terrell Owens. The first question you are going to hear from the media to Wade would be about Terrell Owens and his future in Dallas. Don't be naive and think it would be anything else. It is what it is.
TheCount is dead on about Wade. He's not even slick enough or tough enough to just say no comment and keep on walking. He's such a doofus he gives the media a story that's just as good by him saying 'Against the rules' as if he was a child being scolded by his parents.
As for the players shutting up. Yeah, Jerry is going to tell the players whom he was barely fining for being late to meetings and missing injury treatments to shut up in front of a mic, LOL. He is still thinking he's 'one of the guys'.
