Man, what a sad episode. My "Hodor" quote t-shirt just switched from innocent fun to a sad reminder that Bran is a putz.

My guess is that Hodor doesn't make it out of that. Pretty tragic that his whole life (mind) was taken from him years and years ago, just so he could fulfill this one purpose. I had the same thought about Meera dragging Bran through the snow, but I figure I'll write it off to the actor growing too much. This plot line was started and mostly written with a much smaller Bran in mind.

Good Guess... :D

So the war between the First Men, & The Children Of The Forrest begot the White Walkers, who they both had to fight off years ago together, and must do so again......The starks have blood of the first men, as does the Wildlings...

RIP Hodor aka Hold The Door, Leaf & Summer :(

And its confirmed, Bran can effect the past....

Can he change it or was his future involvement already accounted for? Or was it just a possible contingency if Bran did x...y..z....

I loved how his whole life had been sacrificed for that one moment...but that moment may be key to the survival of man-kind....talk about the long game

winter is most definitely coming.

you'd think they'd take some of the dead....dead, out into the world and go LOOK!!! STOP FIGHTING AMONG EACH OTHER!!!! but then again, travelling isn't that easy. wonder how the frozen dead will do in the desert sands?

as soon as hodor said "hold the door" for the first time it clicked for me that's the origin of his name and how he got to be who he is. he was getting pretty ripped up at the door, but we're not sure if he gets away or not. my question is - how fast can a girl go dragging a growing blind boy through the snow? nasty out so perhaps trail fades soon but the dead should be able to bloodhound the living. :)

I think we might see the return of Benjin Stark.....they never introduce someone for no reason.....he might be the only one that could help Bran

Also the Night King put his mark on Bran so he should be able to track him anywhere....at least that is what the 3 eyed crow said....

The first men of the North were Starks ...... that means the nightsking is a Stark.

I also think Bran is gonna go back in time and actually be Bran the builder ....... who he is named after.

So much was revealed last night

Hodor's special purpose
The Children created the White Walkers to stop the First Men(Starks)- using Dragon Glass
Varys has some prophecy powers as well.......who's voice did he hear?
The Many Faced God founded Braavos
Blackfish survived and regrouped his army
Jorah loves Khaleesi...jk

It is ironic that the girl gets to kill 'Cersai' who was on Arya's list

The interesting bit about the White Walkers being created by the Children of the Forest to fight against the First Men is that the Long Night happened WAAAAY after The Pact, which was when peace began between man and the Children, but way before the Andal invasion.

I saw it as being mind raped by Bran and him forcing Wylis to hold the door shut.

not quite. Bram originally went into his mind, but when Wylis was holding the door, Bram had already stopped. You could see Wylis' eyes, instead of the all white look and where Bram was, watching the past, you could see his eyes. Wylis definitely chose to hold the door and was not forced, and what made the scene sad, was Brad had to watch Wylis' seizure. If he was forcing him still, Bram would have been unaware of the fact that he turned Wylis into Hodor

well, for the record, I was responding to iceberg's comment: "...as soon as hodor said "hold the door" for the first time it clicked for me that's the origin of his name and how he got to be who he is. he was getting pretty ripped up at the door, but we're not sure if he gets away or not. my question is - ..."

But I will agree that I'm not exactly on par with Sherlock Holmes regarding my deduction that he's dead. :)

UH OH, What if he goes WIGHT?
