I may hate the Giants, but as a football fan, this sucks. I hate seeing injuries and these kids just suck (b/c it could just as easily be Ware or Ellis).

Of course, if the Giants Dline suck, you know the fans will be crying about how "If Osi didn't get hurt":laugh2:

This is why preseason is so damn stupid and needs to be shorter.

Just like we cried, if Crayton would have finished his route....

Now they might have to put Kiwi back at DE. Just when he was getting used to LB. Now theyll be thin at LB

Plax and Pierce are whining, Strahan, Shockey, the list goes on.

Law of averages, theys gon suck. Commanders suck

Philly lookes to be a solid WC contender, but the div. is on lock.

just watch man. philly is now our opponent for the division crown.

If they get Boldin, they could sure as hell win it.

But you won't be competing for anything but a Top 10 pick if your #1 receiver is Reggie Brown and your best linebacker is Chris Gocong.

It was a freak accident. Whether pre-season or regular season, he just took a funny step. I don't think that it's the type of injury that can be avoided by any means other than not playing at all.

I wouldn't engrave the NFC East trophy just yet.

The Giants offense, while not stellar, gives us fits. Manning (playoff game aside) always seems to play us well.

I hate the Eagles, but they have looked good so far. McNabb doesn't really have a whole lot of weapons, but their OL is good, Westbrook kills us, and their defense always seems to dominate us.

People who bash the pre-season have lost their minds.

What difference if he gets injured in Week 3 of the pre-season or in the 2nd quarter of Week 1? Its the exact same thing.

Strahan will return folks. There's no way he sits out after what just happened to their line last night.

STRAHAN IS IN GREECE

Posted by Mike Florio on August 24, 2008, 2:41 p.m.
With Giants defensive end Osi Umenyiora out for the year and immediate speculation pointing to the team trying to lure Michael Strahan out of retirment, we’re told that Strahan won’t be doing anything soon.
Per Strahan’s close friend and budding FOX personality Rich “Big Daddy” Salgado, Strahan currently is vacationing in Greece.
There are important questions that would need to be addressed before a return could be possible. First, has he stayed in shape? Second, will his FOX contract permit him to walk away without having to write a big check to the company? Third, does Strahan even want to play again?
Right now, our guess is that Strahan won’t want to play. But if the team offers to pay him the same $12 million salary that the Jets will pay this year to Brett Favre, Strahan might be tempted to change his mind.

We all knew they'd reach out to Strahan so we'll see just how serious he was about those statements that he wouldn't be flip flopping. I am leaning toward believing that he'll have no desire to return cause he hasn't had to stay in football shape and he got the one thing he was still playing for, the ring.

I think the Giants are just going to have to go into the year with just Justin Tuck as their pass rushing DE.

Strahan's statement they are scrolling across the bottom of NFLN makes me think he might come back if they asked him to.

" I haven't heard from anybody else on this so to say if I would or wouldn't is premature. So, I am enjoying the retired life right now."
