Gints on top of NFC east , who would have thunk?

Good for them. Won’t last long. They will shoot themselves in the foot soon enough… So enjoy giants fans. We will play again. And we will be ready….

Entering the season the East seemed pretty open and I'm not surprised to see the Giants there for right now. I'm sure these standings will change by the end of the season, and if the Cowboys can make strides defensively I certainly believe they have a good shot to claim the East.
Just curious….How would you feel if Dak went down for the year? Would you still feel you would win the East? By the way, who is your backup?

Not for long with Jameis Winston at QB.
He was Jameis of old today. 3 TD passes and 2 interceptions. Fortunately, our defense has improved enough to keep us in the game when turnovers enter the picture.

Week 5

Cowboys have TB at home.
NYG at Washington as Daniel’s may be back for that game.
Philly plays Jacksonville in London so is that truly a HFA for them. ,Abe not.
But I assume they are staying over there while Philly travels.

Hopefully it sets up well for Dallas

Welcome, doing some recon on division forums for fun? It's rare any team goes anywhere without their starting QB for an extended time so I think any fan would be skeptical on the season outlook. We've been there before too, not a fun season.

For our backup, I hear Romo is currently unemployed, haha

How are you feeling about the Giants moving forward?

NFCE is just not good. Jalen Hurts had 93 yards passing today 93!!!! :laugh:Dude is just not an NFL caliber passer of the football. He really should be playing RB. Dak has never throw for under 100 yards in a game he played the whole game in 11 years. There is no team in our division better than us. Certainly not the sorry Eagles. That doesn't mean we are good, just that they are all as bad as us...or worse...
Yup, as bad as the D has been, they are improving weekly. At least against the run. There secondary has injuries but what do you want with no QB pressure?
Safety injuries kept Downs from covering the slot receiver, so everyone was moved around. Eagles are on a downswing, lucky to beat the Titans. They might be the divisions worst team when all is said and done. But for one bad Ravens call, Cowboys could be 3-1.

The two teams that the Cowboys have lost to are both leading their divisions.

However, after playing their best game of the season against the Cowboys, both QBs of the two teams are now injured.

Seems almost unfair. Both stayed healthy just long enough to hurt the Cowboys.

Calm down Kum. Dak has gone down for seasons. We didn't do well. I didn't go over on the Giants Board and act offended. I felt like it was gonna be a long season. That's just the NFL where there are not enough starting QB's to go around. BTW Dak was injured in a game against the NY GiAnts and lost for the season with a dirty tackle (hip drop tackle) and had his ankle destroyed.

Do you think the GiAints can win the East? Do you think they will? I don't.

BTW, I post regularly over on the The Giants Board (Pro Boards) and don't get my dander up like you are close to doing here. You are in enemy territory so maybe take that to heart. In fact there is a lot of vulgar names hurled at the Dallas team on The Giant Boards. Let it go over here. NY is the enemy !

I think at some point the GiAints wilt. The NFL schedule makers set them up to succeed and all they needed to do was sneak up on Dallas and they did just that. If that game was played in week 3 or 4 with Dart not injured I feel pretty confident Dallas wins. And don't give me the injury BS . . . Dallas is playing with 3rd string and practice squad safeties and a practice squad CB along with missing their stating MLB. Y'all may be missing Dart but don't whine about that here . . . we just don't care . . . next man up !

Cowboys backup QB is Sam Howell . You probably knew that though.

If your QB succeeds by running then they'll be hurt. Dart is hurt, Daniels is hurt, and now Jackson is hurt. Yeah they hurt Dallas with QB runs but skrew 'em all. Eventually you'll pay the piper.

Cant get to understand this ? Can this continue ?
Without Dart I doubt they can sustain this all year.

Division will come down to us and Philly. Winner will be whichever decides to suck less over the next 13 games.

Only problem with this theory -- none of these guys was running when they were injured.
