our next 4 games will be tough, at jazz, then back to play the lakers, grizzle and suns at home. we still have the lakers 2 more times after that and once more at phoenix. i know its going to be very unlikely, but id love to finish the season 10-2 so we can continue the streak of 50+ wins

I have a feeling you guys are gonna straight up clown us on Wednesday. We always lose that 1st game in SA usually badly and then win the last one. I'm not sure we'll even win the last one.

2008-2009:

1st meeting in SA, Spurs won 112-111.

2nd meeting in SA, Lakers won 102-95.

2009-2010:

1st meeting in SA, Spurs won 105-85.

2nd meeting in SA, Lakers won 92-83.

2010-2011:

1st meeting in SA, Spurs won 97-82.

2nd meeting in SA, Lakers won 99-83.

There's been a pattern the last 4 seasons let's see of it continues. I've been to everyone of those games except for that March meeting in 2010. Honestly winning these two meetings wouldn't do anything good for us. We win and we have to face OKC in round 2. We lose we have to face Memphis in round 1 and the Spurs in round 2. In othe words we're a 2nd round exit either way.

its likely we will win the first one, and equally as likely we will lose game 2. we rested blair and jackson today and im thinking 2 regulars will get off days tomorrow. so we should be fresh for the first game, plus its at home. the second game is at the lakers, and its in the middle of our second set of back to back to backs, so its likely we will lose that one. with 6 games out of 12 vs playoff quality opponents i doubt we finish 10-2, but then again i never thought we would have 2 double digit winning streaks this year. I just hope the lakers arent on our bracket, id prefer the clips in the second round

With all due respect, which team in the NBA can sit their top 3 players and even be competitve in a road game????

Scratch that, which other head coach in the NBA can sit his three best players and as a result lose the #1 overall seed in the conference and get away with it?

not a single shot would fall...they had a ton of open looks, inside and out, but it seems someone in Utah slipped a lid over the basket during the midquarter timeout.....it was insane to see so many good shots just brick after brick.

I am upset with the loss, but at least our reserves got valuable minutes and in game chemistry with one another.

Plus, we can now focus on the final 11 games and finish the season on a 3rd 11 game win streak.....

i am really happy that the reserves got lots of playing time together, specially diaw, mills and jackson. there will be plenty of minutes to go around with our upcoming stretch of 8 games in 11 days! as long as we are over .500 ill be happy, if we are, we should have the 2 all but clinched afterwards, as long as we dont get swept by the lakers the 3 games we have with them.

im really hoping we get the 2, the grizzle get the 5 and hopefully the clips get the 3 and the lakers the 4

Speaking of D-Rob I never shared this, but I'm going to now. It's the 2007-2008 season and I'm courtside at a Lakers/Spurs game and I see David Robinson. I'm with one of my friends and I ask David for an autograph and he says sure do you have a pen? I could've sworn I had one. I didn't and the security guard told me to leave. Yes I was on the brink of getting the autograph of one of the best basketball players ever. I was so pissed off.

damn that sucks!!! back in the day when i went to UTSA i worked at HEB and bowen came by and bought something with his credit card, he signed the credit card receipt (something you use to have to do) and i contemplated keeping it! lol, i decided to keep my job instead.

thank god we got the W!! i was getting scared we might start to spiral downward again! as soon as we clinch the 2 seed we need to sit EVERY one of the big 3!

last night was a dog of a game......we got raped on the boards and the Lakers just beat us down like we were redheaded step children....

tonight, we almost gave it away late, but we won.....we swept the Grizzlies. This one was important cause it was the first game where both teams were at full strength. It was good to nip that 2 game losing streak in the bud.

BTW, my gf and I went to the game tonight....had a blast.

Spurs got female dog slapped by the Lakers.....the Pens gave up a 3 goal lead and lost in OT.....the Astros lost to the Braves. my teams went 0-3.
