With any chance, Zeke could, if healthy and Martin gets help from the O line, aim for 1,200 yards over games. Tha is 71 yards per game. Not great but if in tandem with Pollard could churn out 125 yards a game. Tha is enough to keep defenses busy near the LOS and open up passing lanes.

Not asking much from Zeke. The key is to avoid injury (duh!).

First off I do not agree with paying RB's big money in todays NFL, Saying that obviously Zeke was injured and before he was injured was having a damn fine year along with TP who also got injured and when the OL started getting nicked it shut down what was a pretty good run game to start the season. You couple that with (in my opinion of course) a very young OC who is still struggling with "Next man up" do the same thing syndrome from his last HC and it goes like it did. The Playoff game..again anyone who actually watched that game and walked away thinking it was more 1 players fault than other literally has to ignore how badly we got whipped to a man in the trenches..like Z Martin had off plays even, the left side was a mess as the 49 DL just kept picking the weak link and killing it as we did nothing to stop it. So was Zeke affective in that game ..Nope but neither was anyone else because we literally got whipped up front and it wasn't even close.

I have addressed Zeke with others but only you are as passionate about it. I also have spoke with you briefly on other topics as well you just only seem to remember the zeke convos. You live in a Zeke fantasy world. He’s clearly not as explosive as he was earlier in his career. It’s obvious to anyone who watches him.

No he started being underutilized the day Kellen Moore got the playcalling duties. Pretty much since that moment 90% of Zeke's carries have been up the middle. No one has said anything about Zeke being as explosive as he was earlier in his career. He isn't.. but there is a good deal more to being a good NFL RB than just being explosive.. otherwise every one of them would have 4.3 speed.. Yes in today's NFL almost none of them do. Though he doesn't hit as many home runs as young Zeke, this version of Zeke does many things better on the field than he did when he was a rook. So he has in essence traded being that home run hitter mentality for running a different way. But I will ask you again.. were you not watching games 2-5 last year when he was averaging >100 yards a game and >6 yards per carry? And if he does that for a full season do you think anyone will be unsatisfied with it? You know.. 1800 yards at over 5 yards a pop? Will you have the guts to come in here and declare that he needs to be gone? Again, I don't expect it to happen.. not because he's not capable.. but because the Dallas Cowboys do not want to play that brand of football. You want to be mad at Zeke for that.. go ahead.. I'm not going to join you there.

The only reason why Zeke plays more is because of Jerry forcing coaches to play him more. Not because of production.

Zeke is 27 years old. We often hear about players reaching the dreaded 30-year-old mark. There is some truth to that, statistically.

But Zeke has 3 years to go to that level. Yes, he's had quite a few carries, but at 6 ft and well over 220 lbs., he's built to take that. Now every player is different, but I'm not throwing Zeke on the trash heap and saying there is no way he'll ever be anything close to his younger self. He's carried this team's running game, may be able to do it again.

I'm certainly willing to give him a chance. If others can't, that's their problem....

There’s just a lot to unpackage with Zeke. Starts with a lot of people upset where we drafted him, coming in fat that one year, then the off the field stuff, holding out and then his numbers decreasing. He’s an easy mark for fans to take their anger and disappointment out on. I tend to think he’s not close to what he was, but I’ll hold out hope I’m wrong.
