Golden Tate's hit on Sean Lee

Deserved some retribution. Or at least someone getting fired up about it and letting them no that stuff will not fly.

I wish our team played with more emotion!

We like to hug our opponents.

changed the thread title to hit to satisfy some of you. it was a legal hit, correct. i want to know why nobody ever takes this type of **** personally!

ONE MORE TIME.

Blindside hits on blocks fall under defenseless player. He led with the crown of his helmet to the side of Lee's head.

So our players would've just let Romo get hit on a kneel down with no retaliation? Well, we'll see next Sunday.lol
to be honest with you, i wouldn't be surprised if nobody took offense. you never see our guys get riled up about anything the last few years.

It should have been a flag and will be a fine.

100% correct. Anyone who disagrees doesn't know the game. It was clear he led with his helmet. Dumb move on his part.

He got hit too hard :'( WAHHH fine that guy

So nobody wants to answer the question huh? When has a team taken offense to a blindside, legal block? I'll be waiting. (I know I won't get an examle)

I dont know about blindside hits but the Eagles were taking all kinds of shots from Baltimore today and they had their guys back. When you see one of your guys take a big hit, you always want to make sure you return that favor. Thats what this is about. But clearly nobody on this team wanted any parts of getting nasty with Seattle

Not a cheap shot. Lee was in the play should he expect not to be blocked?

It was a cheap shot. And illegal.

You cannot peel back which Tate did. (that is illegal)

you cannot launch yourself at another player which Tate did. (that is illegal)

You cannot hit someone with a helmet to helmet blow which Tate did. (that is illegal)

Get a rule book.

And yes, it was a cheap shot.

thats football. nothing cheap about it. no retribution needed.

Did not see the play, but here is a tweet about it:

“@MikePereira: On a blindside block the player is defenseless and you can’t lead with your helmet no matter where you hit him.” #rplcmntrefs

OH PLEASE! The Eagles started every altercation in the game! smh. And you can't compare a shoving match coming to your teammates defense to a blindside block.
