That’s not an experience thing. That’s a pass Lance has been making since high school. You either have touch on your throws or not. Rookie mistakes you can live with. But there is an issue when guys like Will Grier and Tanner McKee can make these throws without playing time….
well I dunno, you could be right, but he has been sitting the bench for a bit, taking mainly half speed training snaps. he could be rusty also. Rush started out rusty as well. it took him 2 games to get to decent.

I will say though, neither Rush nor Dak could have avoided THAT sack to even have the chance.

That's kind of throw should never be acceptable from our QB.
I agree.

I can kinda understand it yesterday though. Lance had been a touch high on some passes just prior to that play. When he saw Rico so wide open you could almost see him slow down his arm like "I just wanna float this to him".

It's horrible no doubt and I'm not trying to excuse it. Just saying all QB's will tell you the wide open passes are often the hardest because your brain has that extra thought of "just don't miss".

Would have been nice to see it completed but for the team goal of getting better picks I'm not upset about it.

Rush lacks the talent to make throws. Lance has that talent. He looks the part which is why everyone wants to keep giving him chances. This is his ceiling. I’d still rather have him than Rush but it’s gonna be limited. It sucks but you are required to show something before you get into the game.

Rush lacks the arm, imo. I think Lance has more than that. I really wish we had seen him for 3 or 4 games in a row this season.

Ok. some good, some bad. Not a starting level QB. Stuck in a tough spot. Really needs reps but he has gone a few years without any. After a short college career too. Tough to see where he gets reps as he basically got none in a lost season in Dallas. i understand trying to win and playing your best players. It would have been nice to get more snaps with Lance once Dak went out.

It was alright but nothing to get excited over. I think Will Grier would be a better backup QB to replace Cooper Rush for next season

Jerry went "all in".

A chance to develop a talented, young athlete that needed playing time and mentoring. But in his head we were gonna win games, be in the playoffs and make a run?

Insane.

I agree with a B. He missed some wide open throws but that could be attributed to nerves and lack of gametime. It also could be a sign of weakness in his game. We need more game reps to see how he handles the offense.
He needs reps with the 1s.
