You hardliners about marijuana are amusing, I wonder what your guilty pleasure of choice is?
you must be smoking some good stuff if calling me a hardliner is what you took from that post

I guess it proves the theory that weed kills brain cells........smoke on

So what's the difference if Bell missed his test because of surgery Yet Gregory missed his because he was in rehab? I don't see how they couldn't take that into consideration. They don't get phone privileges really for a couple of weeks depending on the treatment facility ( I know because I had to put my ex-wife through it after she got hooked on pain pills after surgery which ruined her nursing career). I would think that is something the NFL should've been understanding about.
All I've seen you do is whine about Bell.......who cares.......he got 2 game and 3 game suspensions for 1 arrest with a tiny amount of weed and a couple missed tests... that doesn't seem light to me

Gregory failed or missed at least 6 tests in 2 years.........it is on him
Just like Josh Gordon and Johnny Football

Orlando Scandrick had his suspension vacated...... does that mean the NFL favors DAL?

RGregory has no leg to stand on.....he has failed or missed over 6 tests judging by numbers of fines and suspensions

1st fail - enter the program at the Combine 2015
2nd fail - 2 game fine 2015
3rd fail - 4 game fine 2015
4th fail - 4 game suspension 2/16
5th fail - 10 game suspension 9/16
6th fail - year long ban at least 11/16

So what's the stats for bell?

1- Arrested for DUI and a bag of weed- 3 games reduced to 2 because the new rules were used
2- Missed a couple tests- 4 games reduced to 3 because he had surgery and couldn't drive to one test
3????- Next fail = 4 games

I don't see any favoritism for Bell

He missed a test in December, January, and slept through another test in April.

He missed three tests, and got to stay at the same level of the program. So, the next test would be 4 games instead of 10.

Whereas, based on 3 missed tests, he should be facing a year suspension.

that's not how it works...... all missed tests aren't counted as fails......they counted his offseason as one fail

December isn't the offseason.

And January probably wasn't either considering they played on January 17.

Then he slept through the offseason one,

That'd be a year suspension. But, they were in the playoffs, and he still gets to stay at the same level in the program.

It was the offseason for Bell....... he was injured and last played 11.1.15 and went on the IR

But you got it all figured out........you should have helped Roger at his appeals

Huh? I'm just going by what the guy said himself. I mean, I didn't know that and you probably didn't either.

It does look kinda sketchy though.

He was on the IR so his season was over

Let's discount the fact that the season was still going on, or the fact that both Gregory's 4 game and 10 game suspensions looked like they happened in the offseason.

This is the problem with people nowadays. Instead of ever having an open, sensible change of mind in the face of glaring facts, they dig a hole for themselves because they have some weird inferiority complex about being proven "wrong" when it's perfectly reasonable given they didn't have all the facts.

It's okay.

If you think you proved me wrong that is the best one I heard all week....you know you didn't know Bell was on the IR and you feel stupid and have to lash out to cover for your ignorance

Keep whining about Bell and Floyd and see if that helps Gregory

That is the root, and not falling on the structure for a uniform standard or not...that Gregory at heart, loves the stuff and has a hell of a battle to overcome to be successful in the NFL. He hasn't owned up to declaring himself an addict, and won't recover, most likely.
my opinion on him is like romo. youre not on the field oh well someone else will fill your shoes. next

That's cute..... I teach you how the program works and then you get it all wrong when you try to come at me........ I never said you couldn't fail a test in the offseason..... that was just another example of your terrible reading comprehension.... try again next semester

Whatever the reasoning, it doesn't look good on the league. This is going to be a big sticking point in the next cba and I don't see how Goodell keeps the judge, jury and executioner title he currently has.

Unfortunately, maybe the NFLPA is going to let Gregory be the sacrificial lamb to get more leverage...

The Star used to mean more than the Lawrence Phillips and Gregorys of the world.

We have a kick-*** team, Sir Jerry. Gregory is so 2018 ... if he behaves!

No matter which side anyone takes on this issue, you can hardly put Gregory and Lawrence Phillips in the same sentence. Hyperbole?

The handling of Randy Gregory by Randy Gregory looks even worse.

It would have been nice to have his skills on the field, but the guy is an addict and he hasn't earned the right to be on the field as far as I'm concerned.
