Nah.. it was dumb to say. If you don't think he put it that way for a reason..come on, now. lol

Yeah, because he thought to himself "how can I make a reference to the incident I got suspended for" before he answered the question. Smh

Oh Hardy did push her and assault her. I didn't know you were there. Thanks for giving us that exclusive. Well gee that just changes everything. A poster on CowboysZone.com thinks Hardy assaulted a woman. Who are we to question?

By the way.. he was convicted of the assault in a court of law. Soooo, yea.

Well, the NFL also wants to sell tickets to the ugly women. There are probably more of them (as there are us ugly men) than hot ones ... although the networks' cameras never can seem to find any. Maybe those outraged about Hardy's comment should address that.

LOL......

I can see it now. "Greg Hardy advocates banning (Fill in blank here) women from professional Sporting Events."

Tomorrows headline maybe?

I agree with Joe Rod. Just give some panned answers, play ball, and let it all blow over. The Cowboys PR staff is probably going crazy anyway without these supposed "innuendos" remarks from Hardy.

Players are not robots. People need to buy some understanding and keep it moving.

Prime example why the guarded ones do everything possible NOT to talk to the media and I don't blame them. I'm just glad we're not on FOX Sunday.

Just out of curiosity, how often do you hear player's talking about another man's wife and her looks?
I too think it's a big ado about nothing, but society is what it is.

Well personally I don't listen to many one on one interviews but I mean those guys with a little personality might say something not related to football. If I had to venture a guess it's not the first time a player has mentioned something about another player doing well with the ladies or something along those lines... I'm pretty sure more of the talk related to how attractive a player's wife or girlfriend is has probably come from the talking heads on ESPN that are bashing Hardy now. Even on broadcasts I'm pretty sure I remember the commentators have mentioning something about the quality of a player's dating record, or how great the cheerleaders look or even an attractive fan in the stands. Is any of that really wrong if it's done tastefully? I don't think so, it's irrelevant to football, no. Should it cause a nationwide uproar? Come on why should it? Hell remember when Romo was dating a string of celebs I remember everyone mentioned it like "good for him!" So yeah society is what it is, full of hypocrites.

If anyone wants to get sick to their stomach (I don't know why you would but hey) go watch the clip of Skip Bayless talking about this incident. Blown completely out of proportion. Sometimes I think these media guys don't express how they really feel just because they want to be "politically correct". Our society has become so weak.

Really don't think he should be talking about another man's woman or any woman after what he went through that involved a woman.

Allegedly. Wasn't an issue. I'd let someone compliment my girlfriend.

I guarantee you if Hardy was on the Eagles roster and he said that about Romo's hot wife, all of you people who are defending him would be telling us all what a piece of crap Hardy is. Guaranteed.

How are people even defending this guy? Stop being blind homers and just think. The guy had basically one interview to say something nice or make amends, etc and instead he talks about hot women and talks of guns a blazin. It's pure stupidity. It really makes me wonder how long this guy will last if he can't go one day without being a jack hole. I'm also tired of hearing about how charges were dropped. He was found guilty by a judge, plain and simple. He got off because a witness..probably paid..didn't show. People act like charges just disappeared because there was nothing to it.

It's quite simple.

Can he help the team?

Yes.

That's all I care about.

He was found guilty in a bench trial. There's a reason why you can appeal that. Like I asked the last poster with your stance, do you know something everyone else doesn't?

I can SOMEWHAT understand people being against Hardy for bringing up Brady's wife, but the gun's blazin' comment? I question your intellect if you think that was a problem.

So you like watching a violent sport where people are seriously injured in every game, but a player saying the phrase "come out guns blazing" makes you outrageously outraged?

Seriously?

I'm sure some would. Does that really change anything here? This becoming near national news? Really?

Regarding Christine Brennan--she has been black-out mad at Hardy for a year now. She's borderline rabid at times.

I don't know if its the same person but Evan Grant tweeted a link to a woman on one of those shows that did her outrage pedestal bit of how Hardy couldn't say "guns blazing". Her reason was that "A judge had ruled Hardy threw a woman on a bunch of guns".

Which tells you she (and her producers) are just doing a bit for ratings and never bothered to spend ten minutes actually researching the story. I clicked it off after a minute or so when I saw what it was, but its likely the same person.

I'm just pointing out the hypocrisy that's all. In order to be untouchable on this message board, just wear a star on your helmet.

No I'm outraged that we have such an idiot on our team that was out of football for close to 2 seasons yet he can't go 10 minutes without mentioning hot women, despite the charges that were against him. If you and others are really that sad where you can't see how ridiculously dumb and offensive it is then I can't help you and you have zero common sense.

So its wrong to use the horrible, offensive words "guns blazing" so your solution is to call him (and me) an idiot.

Gotcha.
