Belichick won't go near Hardy he just traded his top pass rusher Chandler Jones reportedly partly due to off the field concerns. He wanted to get something for Jones because the Pats knew they would lose him when he became a free agent. They weren't going to trust him with a huge long-term deal.

Yeah, to be honest everyone has some warts. It's just a matter it they are recurring.

Rivera tried to keep him in Carolina. If not for the bible thumping owner he would have stayed a Panther. Fresh off the charges no less.

Yep. That's what I've said elsewhere. If Hardy was a real trouble maker in Dallas, this would be the first time we've heard such a thing about him.

Doesn't matter we are talking to Mayowa. He might not get many sacks but He'll show up to meetings on time!!!

Actually, respecting your coaches and team mates and acting like a professional is a good thing. Maybe not to some fans, but to the players and coaches it is.

There's no evidence whatsoever to support the idea that the problems the team obviously has with Hardy are related to Jason Garrett not being able to handle him.

Garrett proved to me he couldn't handle Hardy when he publicly scolded Hardy for saying he's going to 'come out a gun's blazing' and remarked that Gisele Budchen, arguably the most popular super model over the past 20 years was hot and so was her model sister.

It showed, glaringly, that Garrett was more interested in playing PC Police with Hardy than trying to find a way to handle him, motivate him and get the most out of him. Hard for me to respect Garrett as a coach after that nonsense.

Not showing up for meetings on time is the least of Hardy's problems. If that was his only issue he would have banked millions last season playing under a long-term deal. He still wouldn't be available if all anyone had a worry about was him showing up for meetings on time.

I'd say exactly the opposite. If the coach expects Hardy to publicly conduct himself better than that, it's on the player to conform.

But I also don't think the issue with Hardy had much to do with those incidents. They were relatively minor in the scheme of things.

A good pass rusher in his prime has a total of 7 sacks over the past two seasons?

So you think you can just spew ignorance like that and not get checked?

2014 = 1 game played before suspension and he had 1 sack
2015 = 12 games played and he had 6 sacks

Being suspended for a whole year and then 4 games the following season will have that effect on any player.

In this case, the coach is acting like a moron. 'Coming out guns a blazing' is a very common term. If he said 'I plan on hitting the ground running' would Garrett be offended that he didn't consider plane crash victims? And this is the same coach that kept Josh Brent around, despite having killed Jerry Brown from a DUI and then failing drug tests after his arrest.

I can't imagine Jimmy Johnson (and I'm not the biggest Jimmy Johnson fan, but he didn't have an issue with Haley), getting on Hardy for saying he's going to come out guns ablazing.

It was word policing by Garrett and he didn't handle Hardy well because he is too busy with his pet cats and RKG's and seemingly can't bother to coach some players that he doesn't like,

That's obviously the formula the 90s Cowboys used to win superbowls. No time to fool with crazy personalities.

In 29 games played during his first 2 seasons Hardy only registered 7 sacks. DLaw had more sacks last season than Hardy did his first 2 seasons. Hardy's had only 2 productive seasons in 6 years and will be 3 years removed from his last productive season. He's unlikely to ever be the same player he was prior to that assault charge and suspension it damaged his reputation and he'll never recover from it.

Like Ray Rice all Hardy will ever be remembered for is that assault charge. He and Rice are the poster boys for domestic violence. No way does an athlete regain their focus and become the player they were after having their image completely destroyed.

That assault charge did irreparable damage to Hardy's reputation and it cost him millions. You could clearly see last season with some of his antics especially towards the Bucs fans that were heckling him that he's still defiant and very angry.

He'll never be able to move on from what the evidence and photo's proved he did to his girlfriend it will follow him the rest of his life. He did nothing last season to try and repair his image his antics just added to his problems and it's keeping teams away from him.

For all we know, Hardy may not want to come back to this garbage. He may, for example, view the team as not sticking by his side, when Garrett told him not to show emotion.

And Dallas was also clearly interested in signing him long-term mid-season, even though he supposedly partied all year now, per some reports from 'sources'.

Give it up.. DLaw is no Greg Hardy..

Just stop.. Yeah, you don't like the guy, but don't come with this nonsense as regards talent level between the two..

Oh really, because AP seemed to do just fine last year.

That's a nice selective way of stating what you said.

He actually had 7 sacks in 13 games. He played in just one game in 2014 and only 12 games in 2015.

So you think you can just spew ignorance like that and not get checked?

2014 = 1 game played before suspension and he had 1 sack
2015 = 12 games played and he had 6 sacks

Being suspended for a whole year and then 4 games the following season will have that effect on any player.

And in 2014, he forced a fumble in that one game, had 3 solo tackles and 1 assist. He was a monster from what I heard.

Because Aqil Talib didn't have off the field concerns? You basically just contradicted yourself, when you said they knew they were going to lose him.

He's only had 2 productive seasons during his 6 year career. His 15.0 sack season in 2013 was on a 12-4 Carolina team. He only produced 7 sacks his first 2 seasons in 2010 and 2011 when the Panthers combined for only 8 wins. He has to be on a good team to produce.

Lmao.. He didn't start his first season and still forced 2 fumbles and one safety. His second season, he started he posted 38 tackles, right around his average, one safety, and 11 PASS DEFLECTIONS. He took major steps each year he played.

But yeah, DLaw and his 7 total sacks his first two years or whatever facing single coverage because of Hardy..

You've gone off the deep end with your Hardy hate that your denying his talent.
