Did you also hate Romo because Dak has very similar stats, would have broken Romos single season passing yards stats if the furher hadn’t stepped in and had Garrett call running plays to ensure “Glass Joe’s” record remained unchallenged. And Dak hasn’t even hit his ceiling yet, he continues to get better in spite of coming off an injury. It seems to me that Romo is graded with a different standard than Dak by certain forum members. You should count your lucky stars that we drafted him, though no one expected Dak to develop into a top ten QB in the NFL.

Nobody here wants him to fail. If he fails we fail. Some of us just want to see winning football. However anytime we call Dak out, people come out of the woodwork to call us stupid or whatever. We are realists. I am going to judge my QB after a win AND after a loss. He got payed and part of the job is having fans saying what they think even if the team doesn't care.

If we win next week? I'll be all for dak. However yesterday? He **** the bed. I don't get why this is an argument

So what about the criticism after week 1? "Shoulda did better" was the narrative from these realists.
What about the criticism after the Chargers game?
Or the first few weeks of last year where he was pacing a record breaking season?

Is that because this is Daks 6th season and still No SB?? You can make a case that Tyron Smith is our most valuable player. You see what this offense is with out him. We will lose to Atlanta without him. Hopefully he gets healthy soon or its just another wasted season.

Yes we really can Not afford to lose to Atlanta especially at Home. Getting out played and outcoached by Denver at Home is one thing but to loses again at Home to Atlanta would be bad news with Chiefs, Raiders and Saints coming up.

Dak haters meaning those who love to only focus on the negative and downplay the positive or even get upset or bothered by positive comments made in regards towards Dak. I have seen it on this board and on twitter, where Dak haters will get upset and offended towards anyone who gives Dak any sort of credit for the good games that he has and the things that he does well. Even in this thread, some have made excuses for why they don't give Dak credit for the times that he plays well.

So yes, I do believe that there will be certain Dak haters and Dak critics, who would truly be resentful and miserable if the Cowboys were to win a Super Bowl with Dak,. Some accuse Dak defenders of being "emotional", when there are many Dak Critics who will rush into any positive Dak thread and feel the need to make a negative remark or feel the need to gatekeep the the credit and praise Dak receives from other Cowboys fans or those in the media.

They'll say something like "Dak shouldn't be getting credit for doing *fill in blank*, because a QB is suppose to do *fill in blank.*. Dak defenders get called extreme or emotional and yet it's somehow okay for Dak critics to get constantly bothered, upset, offended and irritated by any positivity in which Dak receives, when he is playing well or has a good game.

It's not an argument.. We all watched the game.. so we know he played like **** yesterday. However he was hardly alone.. Conservatively I would say the drops cost him at least 60 yards yesterday and every one of them would have resulted in a first down so those drives would have continued and maybe given the team a shot in the arm.. Dak included. Dak also had nothing to do with the defense getting run over or allowing Tim Patrick (who?) to look like Megatron.. Where people are at odds with you "realists" is when you attempt to hang that entire putrid team performance around Dak's neck or act as if after balling out really for the last 10 or 11 games dating back to last year THIS ONE is the game that shows "the real him." Dak has put up a 100+ passer rating in 7 of the last 11 games he has started and finished .. He has been over 90 in 9 of those.. Sorry but that's great QB play.. So YES he played like absolute horse crap yesterday.. But this is not his norm .. so any attempt to come with a "see I told ya this is who he is" is bound to be met with appropriate derision. But not to worry.. Dak will probably get back to being a 110 passer rating QB next week and all you "realists" will have to crawl back into the woodwork.

I am shocked that this post at this point has only received 11 likes! Now that’s putrid! I would have loved to seen Dak have a bad game and the rest of the team carry him to victory, it hasn’t happened much. When they win it’s every other aspect of the game, but when they lose it’s always his fault (to the haters, which seem to be quit a few)!

I was pissed that the cowboys lost yesterday to a not good team, but we got another game coming up. Time to move on.

It's not like every team, and their quarterbacks, don't "****" the bed on occasion, it's just football. Take a look at Aaron Rodgers' stats game 1 this year - 53% comp, 0 tds, 2 ints, 36.8 rating. Lost 38-3.

The truth on the Cowboys is somewhere in between the "They're SB favorites" and "They suck".

This whole thread is why I didn't log on this morning.

Everybody associated with the Cowboys sucked yesterday with very few exceptions. When that happens, the fan base generally follows suit and sucks, too. We start picking at each other and assigning categories and names to each other. We start proclaiming who is a fan, and who is not, based on whether or not they like the same players we like...or dislike the same players we dislike. It's as predictable as the sun coming up.

So, I waited until the sting of the disheartening loss wasn't so fresh to log on.

I don't hate any of you. I don't listen to anyone who talks ugly for the sake of talking ugly, but I can't say that my opinion on any one player is any better than yours. I just wouldn't watch the game with a bunch of you because it wouldn't be any fun. LOL
