I find myself becoming less tolerant of others. How about you?

You should enjoy Tom Selleck's "Jesse Stone" movie series on TV. He's a single police chief who lives alone, drinks a lot, has a trusty dog companion, and gets to shoot the guys he' doesn't like. What's not to like?
I like Tom, we're the same height, weight and share the same facial hair. ,I don't hold it against him that I am better looking. Lol

From my perspective a walk out in woods after a fresh snowfall, with the snow hanging off the trees and everything quiet... It's amazing.

Love that.

I got the chance to drive through Yellowstone at dawn after a new snowfall in February many years ago. The air was crisp, and everything was calm and silent. The sun was rising, and I had the place to myself.

Shortly after I turned at Tower Junction on the NE entrance road to head to the Lamar Valley, I looked up to my right several hundred yards and there, on a ridge, was a small group of Buffalo running single-file as fast as they could through the snow. Snow was flying everywhere and these animals were in a hurry. I pulled the car over and got out to watch the scene unfold and soon discovered why they were running.

When I got out and turned off the engine I could hear it: A pack of wolves was howling. In the stillness and quiet, their voices were echoing all over. It was just me, the buffalo and the wolves. Its a moment I don't think I'll ever forget.

Sounds like it was a magnificent time.

Things seem to be quieter in winter. Fewer people out. Fewer animals... Birds. The leaves are off the trees so you don't get that noise. It's like the world has hit the reset button. And it's something folks that live in 12 months a year of warm weather or in an area where there's non-stop people won't get to experience... And that's unfortunate.

An observance on the courtesy of the door opening holding, 8 times out of 10 I'll hold the door for someone while hitting Chipotle for a carry-out Bowl ,even though it puts them ahead of me in line, one time I held for a couple and once inside, they insisted for me to 'go first' that was pretty cool I thought, although a rarity.
The etiquette of the door is pretty common here in
my A.O. as everybody knows the beating the elements themselves hand out to you, in seeking a quick respite in an air-conditioned environment is a common goal,,, if I see a good looking gal or one whose looks rival a mud fence I stand there and tell them from 10' away
" always got time to watch a pretty lady walk by" they always smile ( genuinely)
And comment ,sometimes in an open ended fashion:cool:
Every now and then I'll catch scowls/ dark looks from their ol' man,thougho_O
I always hold the door. I always get a Gracias. I get on the bus here and everybody says buenas...l walk down the street and everyone l pass gives a greeting. If you walk into a restaurant...people always say buenas or hola. Very pleasant in that regard.

Over the last couple years I've found myself being less tolerant of others– especially when I'm out & about. I have found myself fighting the urge to say things to others that wouldn't be typical for me.

I dunno... Is it old-age? Is it because over the last 15 years I've worked by myself? There isnt common sense anymore... i sometimes want to punch people for their stupidity! ..i grew up in different time

I don't like the look. I don't want the urge.

Anyone else experience anything like that?
