I see you Jalen Tolbert!

4th & 15 Chiefs need a completion to get in FG range to try and win game against Cincy and goodness a PI flag flies . When you’ve won 3 recent SB everything seems to roll into place
Except their running back broke his leg.

He hustled to recover Dak's fumble, too.

I like the kid. One of only a few on the team to turn up for the game yesterday.

6 attempts for 16 yards. 2.7 yards per carry. Notice how Ronnie goes silent about Zeke in the season after making bold predictions in the preseason.

Dowdle at this point should be getting 15 touches per game . Everyone else is complimentary .

Tolbert had 6 catches for 82 yards, I'll take that every Sunday from WR3. Good to see JT progressing, but I'd like to see him build on this next game.

I'm good on Brooks although he probably bounces back Sunday. I think Flournoy has more upside and those 2 backend WR should rotate.

Stop it, Zeke got the dirty yards lol. Besides, Ronnie started a good, positive thread.

Looks like a textbook hold to me. I saw it soon as it happened. I’ve literally seen that flagged all day yesterday.
Again, the question I asked you is if you actually saw the OL pull back on Parsons. Because I sure didn't in that clip and wanted a reverse or closer view of the hand action of the OL there because a pull by him would make it a hold. I have no problem admitting if it was. But I don't think you saw it either and are just looking at Parsons' body action and assuming like the vast majority of others are and going with it because it's convenient to the pile-on topic. You even see here how Ronnie just tried to avoid it altogether and pivot to "but, but, what about .." calls. I think you know what that means.

The under thrown deep ball might be the most effective play in football. Wouldn’t be surprised if coaches teach it. Draws a flag for a long penalty the majority of the time
It is taught...

I'm not high on Tolbert as I've said but that did deserve kudos and I'd give him more playing time for that alone. Good awareness.

Look at the 49ers . The starting back is IR so the back up runs over the Jets .

Exactly. And in this case there were 4 or 5. Everyone knows it but some will not admit it.They think they have to protect the refs in order to not seem bias.

Not saying we would have won the game. But it Could have been a more competitive game.
Problem or yall act like it’s a Dallas thing and we get screwed in a blowout. Week 1 we got away with murder on so many calls and I mentioned it in the game thread but it’s ignored because we are winning. Holds etc happen almost every play. Some get called, some don’t

Reid said they will look internally first and the Gm is scouting available backs outside the roster . Do you think the Chiefs have won 3 recent SB’s by accident ? Cmon man ,
I think the have won because of the qb and the tight end. No team can beat injuries.

We got away with one in the Browns game and it was questionable.

To see more than one play there dbs not looking back for the ball and going through our WR with no flag was frustrating. The one handed contested catch by Tolbert was sweet. But the defender never looked back to find the ball and was no flag. But we had a close one that our defender got there slightly early and they threw the flag.

Then later a pass to Lamb in the endzone and defender never looked back. He had a catch and another defender came in and hit him helmet to helmet. Straight in the head and broke it up. I just knew they would throw the flags there. Should have been multiple flags. And no flag. I was so pissed when they were allowed to walk away and flex like they made a great play. More than one play they walked away flexing and I was getting even more mad with each play like that. We got beaten down but the refs helping made the loss worse.
To his credit the defender actually never made helmet to helmet contact on that play. What he did do was put his forearm into CeeDee's face and neck area which still would have been flagged if Donovan Wilson had done it to Olave.

Hell those numbers are good for a WR2. I don't know about Brooks.. He might be one of those guys who looks good when there is no pressure like last week when he had a nice catch in a no pressure game but dude looked hella tight in this one. When he needed to step up he stepped down. Tolbert did the opposite.. which is a good sign. I'd like to see Flournoy too but we know about coaches and rookies.. Unless there is an overarching reason to play them.. they don't.
